Montreaux is my favorite place for two shows in one night. (i.e. the 2009 recipe, not the setup of his later visit)

In other places I only like a 2nd show if it is a proper aftershow.

That is quite a difference with Toronto's venue that P chose.

The venue capacity is adjusted for different events

The last time Prince played there in 2011, capacity was set at just below 11,000 for the event.

From the website: http://www.centrebell.ca/...ifications

"While the Centre Bell can seat over 21,000 fans for an NHL hockey game or a sports event full capacity for a major concert is approximately 15,000 seats."

The seating plan shows use of only about 1/3 of the seats in the venue. None of the 300 and 400 section seats are available, and then it's about 2/3 of the rest of the bowl including the floor seats and pit. Perhaps there will be about 9000 tickets.

Here's the seating plan in Montreal. I've outlined it in purple. The pit is in yellow (I got a ticket 4 there -- hundalasiliah!).

According to what I can see in the plan, 3 hours after sale time, half of the tickets are sold!

Cool, but the show was announces yesterday, and Prince isn't the most popular or wanted artists around here, so for me this is cool!
