Prince is a good man for doing this. The city needed some joy after all that it's been through. I imagine a lot of folks would stay clear of Baltimore after the riots.

i wonder who is singing backup. just heard him do several of the 1999 lead parts instead of trading off with other vocalists. NEVER saw that in any other version of the band.

He's played these songs a million times before with much better bands. These renditions are lacking. This sounds like a Prince cover band, and not a great one. It is time for a new band.

I am happy for the people of Baltimore and the fans who are enjoying the concert. I truly commend Prince for doing the show. However, as a lifelong Prince fan, this is disappointing.

More black people have murdered each other in the past few weeks in Baltimore since the unfortuntate death of Freddie Gray than have been killed by police in the past 10 years! Think for a minute what those communities would be like without the police. Quit blaming others and work on changing the inner cities and the sad breakdown of the family there. Then and only then will you see change. For now though, just enjoy the show and put your political comments in the other section of the org.
