Foo Fighters have done this in the past year or so with some Hit n Run shows. They tweet shit and people line up. But I don't think the same thing would work for Prince since not a lot of folks know how to get Prince news these days.

i'm sure Prince could announce the next date two weeks from now and still call it the Hit n Run tour 2015. In the mean time, have a blast checking the org every day for updates.

What's Happening? It's pretty simple. Prince wants to play for as few people as possible, and he's quite talented at this. Instead of having a structured tour that people with jobs could plan for, he does everything last minute, and plays small venues. He will sell some or even most of them out, but instead of having 15,000 or so pay an average of $75 per ticket...he can play to 2,000 averaging about $125 per ticket. Less money, less fans get to see him, and he can have 2, 3, even 4 shows per night, and cap some of them at 75 mintues or so. Why? Because he's Batshit crazy.

This guy put Tony M in the band. That is evidence for any questioning of his sanity.

I totally understand why everyone is mad because I feel like I won the lottery living right next to Louisville and having a regular M-F job so it was like this "tour" was made specifically for ME alone. If he would have announced more shows up front, then people from all over the country wouldn't have all came to the Louisville shows, it would have mainly been people who live here and the tickets would have been easier to get. I knew some people that flew in from NY, FL, TX, and CA for that first show in Louisville. So now you are gonna have that going on at ANY show he announces because no one knows if he is going to come close to them later on or not. The whole thing is just stupid
