I've gone to plenty of Prince shows like most of you. I've even managed to go to after shows. What is the best strategy in finding about the shows and more important getting IN the show?

I dont think he's done aftershows for a number of years, I think he prefers to do extended shows these days. At least he has never done one with 3EG anyway. So maybe low change of getting into one in the future.

I went to the Montruex jazz festival and We were scrambling to find an after show which was basically a sit in with Larry Graham. You had to be an A+ lister to get in there. He played guitar for about 1:30 at Liv Warfield after the Essencefest which I was able to attend

I haven't heard of one happening since maybe 2009. The one I went to was announcved & tix put on sale a few days ahead of time, at House of Blues in 2004. NPG Club members got let in early.

So as of right now I don't know what to tell you. Marry one of the band members, maybe.

I saw 2 in December of 2011.

To the OP, Right now I'm hoping we'll hear about SHOWS - the prereqs for aftershows!
