Help with SNL this week Hey, Has anyone got info about tickets for the recording? I'm in town from London! Big love to anyone that can help. X | |

I think SNL tickets are given away a month or more in advance. Nobody knows what show they will get either so there probably will be no Prince fans there that night. I'm not certain but I don't think those tickets can be sold but you could try craigslist http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/

http://www.nbc.com/tickets-and-nbc-studio-tour#snl Stand-by tickets are distributed at 7am on the 48th st. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the show. You may choose a stand-by ticket for either the 8pm dress rehearsal or the 11:30pm live broadcast. Aside from minimal, necessary breaks, all stand-by line members must remain in line at all times. Stand-by tickets are limited to one per person and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Every member of the line is required to present a valid photo ID when the ticket is issued, as well as at the return time. Please note that all tickets are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. NBC staff reserves the right to revoke or not issue any ticket to anyone in line if proper procedures are not followed. Please arrive no later than 7:15pm for the dress rehearsal or 10:45pm for the live show. A stand-by ticket does not guarantee admission and no one under the age of 16 will be admitted.
I've lined up for U2 from like 11pm of the friday until 7 or 8am in the next morning. Then I've chosen the live show, though, they were very limited so I could scarcely make it as the fourth from the cut off behind me. Good luck! [Edited 10/29/14 22:37pm] | |

Been waiting 2C if any orgers r going 2 do Stand-by? With it being Halloween  , cold and purple rainy, the odds of drawing a low stand-by ticket may increase. We'd have 2 drink plenty of Purple Kool-Aid 2 keep warm all night and def have a  , maybe even a  Who's in  got Prince? | |

I'm here in New York City but I'm running the marathon tomorrow morning so unfortunately I was not able to think about trying for standby tix. I gotta get some serious rest before running 26.2 miles tomorrow. Guess that means no after show/surprise show hopes for me either. Now if he would stick around and play somewhere, say Monday night I would be happy! | |
