Ok now I understand why this thread wasn't available yesterday! Just wondering if anyone has seen "I'm yours" live? It's one of my favourites, and would work really well with 3rd eye girl, but haven't seen any mention of it on any setlists.

For me (and this is onnly off the top of my head and not really thought about it or read the whole thread).
I've only ever heard P Control once at the Gold Experience tour. We all remember P getting us to sing the chourus in falcetto having not heard the track B4!

Anna Stesia might not be the rarest song I've heard Prince play live, but it is the rarest performance I remember. In the middle of the night, Prince solo on the piano at Paisley Park and my first time hearing it I was stuck between frozen and melting. [Edited 6/9/14 8:23am] 2Gether 4Ever

"Dance Electric" with Andre Cymone at Sayers Club was pretty special.
The same night he also did a cover of "Everyday People", which I'd never heard him do before.

i don't remember 3 chains of gold played at the celly, but i remember about 20 of us were at a rehearsal at paisley i think that celly on a tuesday afternoon and he had a short medly/intro thing that had stuff like 3 chains of gold and bits and bobs i don't think made it to the main show. it was like a prerecorded section, like to be played whilst prince changed offstage or something.
i'm also reminded he played power fantastic at the celly the night the AC broke down and it was so hot, and there were many tears in eyes when he did you got a friend and brought on sheila e
anna stesia at the first celly was a cool opener. and when he did the purple rain/adore medley at the final paisley aftershow in 2004 it was really great as that's not one he plays much either
and 9 million bicycles was cool at the o2 but i think he played it in vegas. i forgot about that. theres prolly loads more one offs i've seen but i'd have to sit and go through setlists which isn't fun. there's also all the guest spots where he came onstage during a one off performance. i remember the light at paisley park with common and he also did it with common at the o2 which was cool
seeing him do manic monday a couple of times was also great. i wish he would do that more. and seeing the superbowl medley with the best of u was great
other less rare ones i liked where "what you need" by inxs and "baby love" and "love changes" by mothers finest and doing supersition and keep on running at the o2 at the keyboards with the tangerine suit, followed by dorothy parker. fantastic show that was, and love is a losing game with amy winehouse

yeah. i remember they started playing with the curtain down, which they only did 2 or 3 times at the aftershows he played. and i said to my friend "imagine if amy was there" and they opened the curtain and she was directly in front of me. that was only the second time (and last) i saw her live. i saw her back in 2004 in a tiny club touring her first record, and i was front row then and had my first cameraphone, but the shows are awful as it was a motorolla razor half megapixel. i was actually in the bar she used to hang out at last tuesday in camden. it's a shame we didn't get a soundboard recording of that show - i mean more than the half hour or so thats on the official cd

I would kill for a proper recording of that night too. I had King's Row tickets and Amy and her boyfriend (husband?) were sitting next to us. I know he gets a bad rap, but they were very close that night, he was really looking after her. It was weird I had to try and see the stage through her beehive at one point. She was totally on a another planet, the two of them were lost, but very very sweet. My wife spoke to her for a few minutes she was lovely.
When Prince swaggered out behind her on stage, circling her with his guitar, I thought this is one for the history books. Didn't realise how tragic the whole thing would end at the time. But absolute magic to witness on stage. "My God it's full of Stars"

Your right it was during that short set & it might of been prerecorded. That set was at night though not the afternoon. It was the first night of the celebration & Ameil Larreiux was supposed to play but due to the weather was late. Pretty surreal with just 20 of us there. I remember him being really chatty & saying how he wasn't afraid of thunder. If I remember right he said during a thunderstorm he'd like to sit in the middle of his living room playing Da Bass & he did a few cool licks. Very cool set.

i clearly remember the afternoon rehearsal as there was just a few of us in the front carpark where there was some merchandise as i remember having a play with a cloud guitar that was going in a raffle and then a woman came out, i think damons wife and asked if we wanted to go for a rehearsal and strangely no-one said no, and we went in the right hand entrance and lined up inside hearing him rehearse from the npgmc room for a bit then let in the main soundstage and saw a few tracks, bambi and dorothy parker/4 were included i think.
