We have been hit hard economically, but some of us still have money to spend on great entertainment....don't ignore your roots. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Das geht aber richtig schnell: Am Montagabend (26.5.) wurde es verkündet, am 3. Juni, sieben Tage später, ist es soweit: Prince kommt mit seiner Band 3rdEyeGirl nach Berlin, ins Tempodrom. Der Vorverkauf beginnt hier, am Dienstag (27.5.), um 12 Uhr. Ticketpreise sind noch nicht bekannt – allerdings dürfte der Auftritt in der ca. 4.000 fassenden Arena schnell ausverkauft sein. Noch besser könnte der 7. Juni werden. An diesem Tag hat Prince Geburtstag – und tritt in der Stadthalle in Wien auf.

Unkonventionell und exzentrisch war Prince ja schon immer. Das beweist der Musiker einmal mehr bei der Ankündigung zu seinen Konzerten, die dieses Mal sehr kurzfristig ausfällt. Während es im Pop normalerweise eine Vorlaufzeit von einigen Monaten gibt, lässt der 55-Jährige seinen Fans nicht einmal zwei Wochen Zeit sich den Termin im Kalender anzustreichen und Tickets zu kaufen. So auch bei seinem Wien-Gig am 7. Juni, an seinem 56. Geburtstag, in der Stadthalle. Mit dabei hat er seine neue Band 3RDEYEGIRL und glaubt man den Kritiken aus Holland und England, ist ein Funk-Feuerwerk garantiert. Karten für das Konzert gibt es ab Mittwoch.

Some websites now report that tickets will indeed come on sale at 18:00 today with prices from 79 € to 149 €, as kinskie mentioned.
www.ticketmaster.at and www.allevent.com are named as the online sellers, although neither yet seems to list the concert. | |
