Who's the band? Are there any extra musicians on stage, or is it just 3rdEye + Joshua Welton?

Holy fucking shit! Even his self censorship can't mar this wonderful wonderful occasion. This has to be the first time played in over 30 years, right?

It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

I loved February in Manchester as it was guitar heavy. Bambi, endorphin, crimson were all outstanding.

Squirrel, how guitar heavy was tonight?

Agreed.

Sounds disappointingly lacking in that dept! Or did they amp up 'the hits'?

Squirrel, advice based on tonight please!

It was very guitar heavy in places, and the sound was a bit off where I was sat - block 13. Shock of the night was a heavy what's my name - can't believe he pulled that put on a stadium show. His piano set was the best I've heard in ages, his vocals were amazing and he did electric intercourse which hopefully means it will be on the remaster package.
The guitar sound was what was off to the point that it sounded painful when he played at times, really piercing. Overall it was a great set, had some extended 3rdeyegirl stuff including plectrum electric, pbl, fixurlifeup - looking at the programme I'd say the album is still coming, the band are pushed to the front.

Anyone else notice the sofa on stage to the side, with one person Sat jamming away?

The sampler set was a lot better than before, he played full length versions of most songs with a band backing so I didn't mind it for the first time since 2007. And he didn't say "so many hits so little time" which always annoys, so props for that!

Early on, when he did musicology there was a cool split screen effect on the screens with Stevie and James clips mixed in with live streaming of Prince which I thought was cool.

Looking forward to Monday!
Strict curfew, but Prince did play one encore.

Hi all!

LONG time lurker here!

(Your membership level is member, and you've been a registered user for 9 years 7 months 24 days) - that long surprised even me! eek

Loving all the reports from tonight's show! I have tickets for Glasgow so getting excited now!

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the deal is with the wristbands? I have standing tickets for Glasgow and we're planning to be about 3.45pm. Are they given out to so many at the front of the queue? Doyou think we'll be okay arriving around that time?

I've been a Prince fan for 31 years but ha\ve only had a few chances to see him so I'm hoping to get near the front!

Screens were behind the stage. I suspect the lady sat on the sofa might have been the director?

Maybe I just filled it in myself but I swear he said intercourse.
