Unless I've missed something on Twitter, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Prince leaving the Phones For You Arena last night.

At precisely 12:49am, he left the side entrance of the arena in a white Mercedes, followed by the girls in a larger white people carrier.

I just happened to be returning to the nearby Travelodge after a few drinks post-gig when I saw a small crowd (maybe 20) outside the entrance.

I asked what was happening and they said that security had told them that Prince would be leaving soon.

Some of the crowd had been waiting since the end of the gig, two hours earlier!

At first, I thought it strange that he would still be there, but suddenly there was a lot of movement within the gates and lo and behold the cars emerged!

What really surprised me is that Prince wound the window down and had his arm out the rear right side of the car waving.

I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and was able step forward and brush my hand against his before the car sped off into the night.

It was a great way to end the night and I'm curious why no one has mentioned it today and whether anyone got any pics?

I could see prince clearly through the gap in the window and I'm sure someone MUST have a pic!

Anyway, i'm sure the same thing will happen tonight, trouble is there's no way of knowing when exactly he will leave.

As for the gig, it was great, I had seats right up in the Gods (207), but everyone was up and dancing for the whole show and the sound was suprisingly clear.

Fair to say that as arena shows go, Prince is still pretty much peerless...

Prince has a hand...probably 2...and arms and legs...hold the front page!!

Quite possibly, but who knows. He certainly had a few things to say to his guitar tech during the gig...

When I saw him last year in BC he came out at about 2 hrs after the performance. I just thinks it takes time to reapply make-up and change clothes.

I prefer seeing Prince on stage fidling with his guitar.
