Pretty good show. Got 3 rows from the front again this time stage left. Encountered the two girls who ultimately got in the fight who to say the least were a pair of fuckheads that could barely string a sentence together with one trying to grind on me during 1999. To which "no ta love!" then doing the hand gestures of the chorus in a cheesy manner.

great to hear the ride although disappointed by the similar start to the night before, although i love lgc reloaded etc and agree with the post saying about the flow... It just felt particularly toward the end that it was like a juke box offfff this song annnnnd we'll playyyy this song! Probably didn't help i moved back as my mate went home worse for wear thanks to a drink those lovely girls shared with him which had god knows what in it.

out of both nights i thought id get to hear electric intercourse as well but unfortunately not. As for that final song of 'Live it up' it kind of reminded me of princes encore of (dance with me) disco heat cover by being a jumpy disco number... Cant say ive ever heard the original if it is a cover though?

Fantastic performance.. Better than The Academy shows in Manchester from Feb.

The Ride was the treat of the night for me.. Best performance I've ever seen or heard of it.

Live it up ending was also extremely epic. Don't know if it's a cover or what? But sounded very good!

lol struggling to even picture P performing the Mental's Live it up, a tad to mellow for 3EG.

Thanks for all the reviews, sounds like it was an awesome concert!

Wow, Me & daughter got front row after some manic running. It was amazing and a good mix of music - proper full on. Did anyone see Hannah miss a cue to start a beat when the people were up dancing and he had to go over to her...funny.

U know there ain't no other

Absolutely incredible show! I've been to all 3 shows so far and this was my favourite, though that may have had something to do with my better view. And Prince was in a really great mood!

I assumed at the time that Live It Up was a cover because the crowd responded so well to it, but I've never heard it before. The remix of Funk n Roll that played over the PA at the end was also a much funkier version that I hadn't heard before?

just back home in Cork - fantastic show - though very dissapointed there was no PBL/fixurlifeup/something in the water/never take the place - however, my fav song of his The love we make - worth every penny to be surprised with that one - a grown man n tears I was (seriously, maybe one too many beers beforehand) - live it up was really good - maybe it is an older unreleased song?

other big highlight was the ride - wow

funk n roll was great live and the band was top notch - thanks ladies!!!

in 102 - great views and he was smiling A LOT

A frikking amazing loud and rock song! I have never heard it before but the crowd loved it! i have to say i think i burnt like 1000 calories last night in block 102. I did not stop moving!!!! And the block was rocking except for the boring couple to my left who didn't move or sing or do anything.... But i didn't let them stop me! I am SHATTERED today after a 400mile journey to Manchester but boy roll on Friday in leeds!!

On a more serious review note i have to say I felt like p was working his little bum off last night and the girls didn't do as much... I think this is because of his stupidly long sampler set which again i am not. Fan of. It feels like a rip off and a bit of karaoke but because he done HOUSEQUAKE eek i let him off!! lol

Yeah I noticed that!! He spun round so quick when the drums didn't come in with his signal and shouted 'what happened?' to Hannah with a rather angry look on his face.

I got two sides... and they're both friends.

Sorry keep remembering things! Also i had to laugh when we ere exiting and they played a remix if funk n roll and everyone gasped and almost lunged back at their seats hahahaha lol

So P just tweeted Ariana Pelican is the woman who sang Paisley Park.

However, Funkenberry just tweeted it's Marissa Jack which is correct as you can google the name and she comes up.

I think Ariana Pelican may have been the other girl towards the back left.

Wow! Can't stop thinking about last night!.

.

Seen him 3 times since Feb now and last night was by far the best, the crowd seemed so much better than the friday felt more like a party than a concert, good mixed bag of tracks form start to finish.

.

Had some good seats in Block 104, right on the isle next to 103, Crazy the fact there was some stairs inbetween our seats and 103 and nearly £40 difference in price!

.

I think the vocalist he is using isnt great, Marrissa Jack I believe, She looked good but for me didnt work well over his tracks, maybe he got that call wrong? Paisley park felt a little butchered, sounded ok when she was belting it out but other than that I dont think she had the ability to pull it off, my personal opinion is if your going to do a track thats rarely in your sets you need to do it justice.

.

All in all came away feeling like I got my moneys worth and more.

.

.

Anyone hear him mention about Paisely park? Seemed pretty specific mentioning something next summer? I'd seriously consider a trip over if so biggrin

.

Anyone know anything more about the track he finished with "Live it up"? Cannot see anything anywhere, was it a cover?

.

.

He got me all excited when he asked us to come and see him this summer, and then he said to Paisley Park... I'd love to, but I can't see it happening...
I hope we get more information about the new song, and maybe even a nice bootleg to listen to it in the comfort of our own homes. It was a great way to end a great concert (although he lost it a bit at the end of the sampler set, what the heck was going on there!)

yeah she seems very young and looks like people has taken her under his wing. She looked on but I don't think added much energy... personally I felt he needed the npg and better dancers and back up vocalist.

@tatacorcu yes two blips I noticed last night was one that sampler set where it went wrong and Donna (?) Came to sort it out and then when be was playing guitar and messed up a couple of cords. Can't remember what song.
hardly any drunk people near me thank god or I would . of walloped them. Security is so over the top there too. Price needs to relax. I don't know why he doesn't want photos or videos of such talent... beyond me.

They have a point about photos tho, annoying as he'll someone stood I front of you taking videos, why pay all that money to have someone I front with their phone in the air all night instead of partying?

Each to their own with what they want to do. Personally I don't take photos of any concert I go to as I want it all in my mind and they never come out goof anyway but his security with their bright torches are more distracting IMO.

Is that a joke or for real?

Also what about those fans that came onto stage? I like how P distanced himself and then glances over to see if they look sane enough to be near
lol lol but boy does that Joshua look like a complete knob playing the cowbell... biggrin eek
