Thanks. Always impressed by those who have the wherewithal to keep track of the songs. Funny how seeing the list triggers my memory of what he did with each one. That version of Something in the Water, how I wish I could relive it.

Prince made a surprise appearance recently at the Fillmore. While photography was strictly forbidden (by punishment of expulsion), fearless foraging chef Leif Hedendal (of Station to Station) managed to steal this photo of the artist in his psychedelic-style ’stume.

The performance with 3rd Eye Girl at the historic music venue was announced the night before and benefited the Tipping Point, a nonprofit that benefits the underserved in the Bay Area. The show sold out almost immediately.

We have intel that Prince’s people called for takeout from Quince—which is a very top-drawer kind of place. Prince ordered vegetarian.
