You have to show up with I.D. and credit card at will call to pick the tix up and immediately enter the venue. I don't see how a transfer can take place...

What if they brought the person with them....... and spoke to the Will Call window folks, would that work??? Anyone??? anyone???

Nota bene: No tickets will be sold at the box office or via charge-by-phone outlets. Tickets are non-transferable and will-call only with valid photo I.D. ----

Prepare to wait. Prince is once again super late and making everyone wait outside. Clearly the only thing we paid for was a show. Lol. I paid for this. Ha! Have fun ya'll.

Isn't it only 7:30 now?

Also, isn't the Fillmore only 1,000 seats? I don't understand these tiny shows. He sold out MSG twice in 30 mins just a few years ago... (unless it's due to the fact that they are giving no warning for or promoting these shows?) neutral

Prince's clock must be with his publicist because clearly both are missing from the picture. Still waiting.

In my opinion, smaller venues are more fun, less people, less parking, less security, less rederick

more intimate, more appreciated, more about the music than the "Big Show", easier stage set-up and clean-up, etc. (you get my drift)

kinda like going back to his early years

kinda like his fro, going back to the good ol' days (sweet and simple)

IMO

It's about 10:30 there. Ya'll at a Prince concert and I'm sittin on my couch watching Harry Potter with my 7 year old. I'm not bitter. sad

.

Something I've been wondering about these new shows:

How's his voice? Does he still sound similar to the record? Of course I know his voice isn't 25 anymore but is he closer to The Beautiful ones than Fallinlove2nite? lol

Also, how is his dancing? I know he's not doing the splits but can he still move? He didn't dance much on these last tv appearances.

Everybody stop on the 1...GOOD GOD! Uhh!

Okay okay, I get that. I just hope he's not doing this small places because he doesn't have faith that he could sell more. neutral

His voice is as awesome as ever, (he nailed "Do Me Baby" on Saturday)

and he can get down like no ones business, and as far as his recordings,

well i guess it depends on how he feels that night,

but he can nail it like the recordings if he chooses too (IMO)

That is so awesome to hear. I love that he has taken such good care of himself. I was wondering because on the last couple of performanes it seemed like he was hiding behind the band and I was worried it was because he couldn't dance anymore.

Literally they had hundreds of people in line at 7:30, and took over an hour to get in. So there were people who missed the first few songs. The whole will call was chaos. As for the end, it was family responsibilities, but an amazing show, great sound. A lot of piano by prince but he also jammed on bass and guitar. Voice was spot on.

I hate you missed LGC! Did they start before they should have or were people just taking their time getting to their seats or what? That sucks.
