Definitely interested in what you're told at the Box Office. There is a twitter picture linked in the 3/15 show thread and you can see a staff member waiting outside with the group of people waiting for an update. The whole tease of Sunday has to be such an annoyance for them as well today. [Edited 3/14/14 18:29pm]

I go all over to see Prince and saw two DNA shows but..... Not willing to reward the scalpers either. May soften tomorrow. Philmoreliz

Well, an org member went and got it from the horse's mouth so at least now we know for sure. Thanks for the effort, phil. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

I was at my friend's house when we received the email about the show and tickets going on sale, so we both were trying to buy tickets at the same time. She was able to get 4 for her family, and I got 2 for my son and I!!! Then yesterday morning I logged into my Ticketmaster account and my order had been cancelled! I called TM, and they said that I was over the ticket limit. I was like WHAT? I only bought 2 tickets! They said I was over the 4 ticket limit with either my name, email, address, or credit card, and I told them NO WAY, I only bought 2 tickets! So I asked to speak with a supervisor. After waiting another 15 minutes on hold, she told me that my household went over the limit. Again, I said NO, I only bought 2 tickets, no one else in my family bought any other tickets!! She then told me that "household" means IP address!! So, because I happened to be at my friend's house when tickets were announced and went on sale, and because my phone was picking up her wifi, and because she had just bought 4 tickets, MY TICKETS WERE CANCELLED FOR GOING OVER THE LIMIT!! My friend and I are not related in any way. We don't share, in any way, the same name, address, email, phone number, credit card, or anything else. But on that particular night when tickets went on sale, we happened to share her wifi, so my tickets were cancelled. That is so messed up, and there's nothing I can do about it. I'm so upset, and so is my son!!! He's 15, so he couldn't see Prince at the DNA last year, so he was so excited to see him again! He last saw him when he was little on the Musicology tour! So, if anyone has a spare 1 or 2 tickets, please please orgnote me--you'd be saving us!

Geez that sounds downright traumatic. I'm so sorry. Does your friend know? I don't know what to say, because it must hurt even more knowing you thought you had a bird in the hand.

Yeah it was/is pretty horrible, as far as something like this can go. I totally legitimately had tickets, and TM arbitrarily took them away! I've never heard of anything so ridiculous--we're part of the same household??? I asked where it says this on their site, and it doesn't--it says name, address, email, credit card, or OTHER INFORMATION--so they are being super covert about it, like they know it isn't right, so they don't outright state it in their policy. Not right!

Good God, I would be downright "FURIOUS" I would demand to talk to someone higher up that is totally unfair....... But isn't that the way this world is?
thanks for the heads up, I hope you and your son find a way to the show.......

Thanks for the sympathy! Still no luck trying to get tickets, and prices have been going up! I still can't believe how completely unfair this is, and funny how the brokers still manage to get all the tickets! I guess they knew about this and must hide their IP's. I just don't understand how they can do this--we are completely separate people with completely separate accounts who happened to share wifi for an hour. So don't ever think about buying tickets at a Starbucks, library, or Apple store, because chances are that your tickets will just be cancelled, and without any notification! And the supervisor didn't care at all, she just kept repeating over and over that we were part of the same household, so I went over the limit. Beyond mad and just so sad...
