Was fortunate enough to have been there tonight.
Best version of Days Of Wild ever! I never have seen/heard this one live, in-person before. The arrangement with the NPG Horns was fantastic!!! They really nailed it and set the tone for a dance party of epic proportions. Simply amazing.

Exactly. It seems he has 3EG specifically for his rock side, and where he gets to actually be the featured, solo artist, and play more guitar. Isn't that what a lot of fans were asking for in the past? So now they got what they asked for. Secondly, as fans, we know Prince has many musical sides to him, with many fans who love the funk, r&b, slow ballads, blues rock, jazz, soul sides, etc., of Prince. Prince never seemed to be an artist whopigeonholed himself into one genre of music, which apparently seems to be the reason, in the past, he created other bands as an extension of his music, but didn't really perform with them, as they were known, separate bands playing his music for him. | |

Andy was sitting with Prince in a VIP booth. She didn't come on stage. Prince came on stage briefly and wiped Liv's brow with a handkerchief....lol

I wish he would tour and announce the shows that are 3rdeyegirl and the ones that are NPG so that we could pick which one we want to see. Two nights in each city(one with each band would be cool). I want to see the 3rdeyegirl show and if I went and got the NPG show I would be very disappointed so I wish he would announce it so the fans could pick which ones they want to see. That way the rock fans could see the rock show and R&B fans can get their show. Just a hope that Prince would consider this. I know some people would go to both but I could care less about the R&B show and I am sure R&B fans could care less about the rock show. This way everyone wuld know what to expect and would be happy | |

Sounds like another full on NPG show by the twitter updates. Prince almost exclusively on bandleader, vocals only, and keyboards duty. Dr Funkenberry said he had not picked up a guitar after at least 3 quarters of the setlist and then they played Something In The Water, when I would imagine he did. Still sounds like Donna took main solo duties on that one too. Just somewhere in the middle,
