not aloud to keep tickets from manchester gig? Me and my boyfriend queued from 10am on saturday for tickets on the door for manchesters gig, i like to be able to keep tickets of gigs etc to look back on for memories and was a bit disapointed that took tickets off soon as walk through the door lady said could get them back at the end of the night but when i asked someone they said they didnt know what i was on about and was asked to leave. Anyone else the same? I know its only a ticket but i have a box i keep everything and was excited to add my first prince gig ticket  although i had the best night of my life | |

We paid on the door got a ticket then had to hand it straight back ? Just want a keep sake were could i find one ? | |

the reason they do that is so they can resell them again its an old trick in the bussiness | |

I had the opposite - I had a ticket for Saturday (printed e-ticket) and as I was leaving at the end a steward was handing out tickets as a souvenir | |

I didnt see anyone with tickets we left out the doors right by where the cloak room should of asked an other steward! Have i got no chance of getting one for a souvenir? | |

Was it Fri or Sat that you went? I went on Friday and had the same problem! Had to argue with several secruity guards at the fronts door and they finally were like - "What do you want it for"? I was like, I paid for it! I want it as a keep sake of course! So he put his hand into his pocket and handed me and my friend 2 tickets! Jesus, I couldn't believe after saying we'd get them at the end, they weren't gonna give them out!

That is tight. I've had that at other venues, but they've always given us a ticket stub back on the way out - not our own, but at least it was something. I understand U wanting a keepsake, try e-mailing the academy. X | |

We were nearly shuffled outside without them on Friday but spotted a security lady with a wedge of them so got our two.
On Saturday the staff said that all the e-ticket people will have taken our long-queued for ticket stubs as they could not differentiate between the two groups on exit. At least I have one for a keepsake.
Not quite sure why they were taken off us though? was there a security issue with keeping them? | |
