It won't work in my opinion. You need 100,000 signatories before it would even be considered.

A much quicker way of getting a debate into Parliament is to canvass your local MP. Go to one of their surgeries and bring it up. I don't think anything has ever come to fruition through the e-petition process, in fact less than 20 have ever even been brought up as a topic in Parliamen, let alone made it through to legislation.

So get hold of your MP if you feel that strongly about it.

Whilst you are at it, let Prince know on twitter that it was better back in the day when we had NPGMC to get notice of gigs and to purchase our tickets! cool

You are probably right about that, my GF works for a London MP and this is not the sort of thing that will get you an invitation to a surgery. I still signed up for it though, as I feel quite strongly about what these so called ticketing companies are doing. It will probably not go anywhere though, especially when nothing happened after the Olympic ticketing fiasco.
