Am I being unreasonable but this seems like a very lacklustre tour so far - 2 nights in a week?

If anything goes on now then It reinforces that it's just for locals

I think those that were at the shows last week and the weekend would say it was anything but lacklustre.

Probably right - couldn't get to the ballroom gig a week ago and couldn't afford the "£70" for SBE gig. Just, by Princes standards, 4-5 days between shows feels quite long for a tour....plus I def can't go Friday or Saturday even if they did announce at a reasonable time

As with the past few days, if there's no "official" word or buzz on Twitter or the other channels by lunchtime, I think its safe to say there will be no gig. Unless Prince decides to drop in unannounced on another show somewhere for a jam, but that will have to be a case of right place at the right time!

I agree. Though I just saw that Kiran Sharma re-tweeted someones tweet saying 'better to go big than go home'... Could be that the club shows are over and that larger venues are in the offing? Or maybe just a fan's wishful tweet.

Queuing now is out of the question now so the pub is a pasable alternative smile

Ha ha - have to agree, after spending several hours on both Wed and Sun I couldn't really face queuing in the freezing cold again - people got into the SBE as late as 9.30pm so with a larger capacity venue I think I'll chance arriving later (also may have to if I'm working till late...)

princewatch is doing my head in - in a good way!

I emailed Seatwave to complain about their stunt with the Hyde Park tweet, with no expectation of a reply, but was surprised to get a reply which said:

I'm not sure for what rumours you are talking about as we do not have any posts for Prince concerts since last week.

I hear you - I'm about 3-4 hours away and each day I convince myself that today is the day. 12 am comes and I think 'any minute', 1pm comes and I think 'I could still make it but it'll be busy', '2pm my heart sinks and all I can do is pray nothing comes out so that tomorrow is a possibility' ...and then I repeat the following day.

Missed EB because it was chaos, missed Shep Bush because couldn't afford £70, csnt do Friday or Saturday and my days off work will all be useful next week.

Lovely fun idea for a tour but it's no good if he doesn't put on shows thAt people (ie Me!!!) can get to

If the band jamming Prince was upstairs, it was me singing "Kiss" as I was there last night, no Prince though.

I don't know, a bit of precipitation and the part-timers start crying off.

This wasn't the attitude we used to get through the Blitz!

on FB someone mentioned he went up north for some gigs and would return to london at the end of this month for a couple of shows before returning to the U.S. I am planning to go to London from Holland but if i would not like to be in a situation to go to london and hear a gig announced last minute in Manchester..
