Future online ticket sale

If we get online sales for the rumoured Brixton show and its 4 tickets per person again (which Im strongly against, but thats another story) would other Orgers considering buying extras for fellow fans who miss out.

-

I know that buying 4 lots will stop other fans getting a ticket... but it would DEFINITELY stop touts getting hold of them.

-

If this Brixton show happens & its online sales... and Im fortunate enough to be online at the time and get a purchase page up on my screen.... I WILL DEFINITELY BUY THE FULL AMOUNT and pass on the extra tickets to true fans. Will end up in the right hands no matter what and at cost price! Lets keep it in the fam!

Think it depends on whether people have the funds to buy that many but I'm happy to pick up tickets if I can rather than have to rub shoulders with people that aren't fans!

Cmon now guys lets not have any snobery amongst fans.

I would like to think if someone has paid £70 for a ticket they would want to see Prince.

They may be new followers which isnt a bad thing

I had four tickets in the basket tonight, and would have bought them just for orgers, but there was no information as to whether they would be transferable, so I didn't do it.

Your name is on the ticket so if you have to show ID at the door then that could be a problem, unless of course you are with the people you sell too

If U had 2000, how would U share them?

Or would U?

You could always try something like this http://prince.org/msg/12/245188

It took a reasonable amount of time and effort but it was a pleasure to do, and it really felt like every ticket went to a good home. It looks like @purplehassan on twitter is thinking along the same lines for Manchester, but I don't know if he's on here.

But if someone has the time and inclination, it can be done. At the end of the day it's just about everyone helping everyone else out.

In this day and age though you would think that there would be an app for that!

Sorry, I didn't mean this to come across as snobery...I'm all for new folks coming along to experience the main man for the first time, and long may it continue (us old school fans won't be around forever! smile ) ....but lets face it, we've all been to gigs where we've stood or sat next to people who have got absolutely no interest in the act on stage and only went along because it was a free corporate ticket, or a mate of a mate said it would be a "hip" gig to go to...nothing ruins your night like having one of them tap you on the shoulder to tell you to stop dancing or singing!

It depends on the venue and notice given.

You could find yourself with tickets that no one will buy.

I think this is a good idea and I will h

opefully be buiying the max available to share with my other Prince fams who cant get them.

Ive unfortunately misssed all the shows so far cos I cant just drop everything & queue for hours, certainly doenst mean Im not a die-hard, Ive seen every tour since Parade, (inc SOTT in Germany) & hopefully, just hopefully, will be in Brixton!!

After the madness of Manchester and purchasing card, photo ID etc... Im not sure I'd buy a full amount now. Not many fans would want to enter the building at the same time as me, since im likely to queue very very very very very early for front of stage biggrin

Anyway... 4 tickets per person should be curtailed too, it should be 2 per person MAX.
