I called earlier, but it went to voicemail... Apparently it closed down last year, but I guess it opens for special events. Same owners as Butter, where he's played before.

I read an article that was posted in 2013, that the Darby was closing, but looking for a different location to open in times square. I guess they feel with Times Square being a major tourist attraction, they would get more customers. Plus it would be much easier to get there if they reopen in Times Square area, rather than staying in the meatpacking district. If you get in, have a great time though.

With all the celebs in town for the game, and manyh probably coming to NYC for post-events, it's not surprising they may have limited it to guests or a private party, but good luck getting in.
