We were about 2 people to the left of this. Awesome spot and really good to get a little sit down before the show started (after 2 hrs travel and 6 hrs standing outside).

Oh my, now that a day has past, I've at last started to get my head around some of the incredibleness that went down yesterday.
Woke up and was hipped to the imminent announcement on 6music by the good folks here. Got washed and changed so I could get going as soon as the news was confirmed. When they announced it was Shepherds Bush, you wouldn't have seen me for dust...
Got to the queue in 40mins flat - number 159. Just a six hour wait, in the cold and rain. Than k god for the free hot chocolate and the enterprising tea and sandwich sellers patrolling the queue!
I said earlier that P channelled Hendrix. I'd add Sly, James, and Mozart to that. Yep, that good. The girls were as tight as could be, and were clearly enjoying themselves. Highlights for me were the slow and heavy Let's Go Crazy, the sick bass jamming over 'Forever in My Life', 'Bambi', the spine tingling 'How Come You Don't Call Me...' and the extended chantalong to 'I Like it There'.
Downsides? Well, it would have been better if the stage was higher - it could be difficult to see the stage from the flow. I guess that's the venue's fault. And I've never really liked Cause and Effect. Hey, that's nitpicking. Certainly the best value gig I've ever been to, the best P Gigi I've been to, and maybe even the best I've ever seen!
On celebwatch - as well as Mr Clinton, I also spotted Cara Delevigne up in the balcony (I wonder what she made of Bambi?!)
Thanks to Marcus, Lisa and Rich (if you're out there) and everyone else in the queue who kept me company. Made six hours fly by like 10 minutes.
Special thanks to the dudes with the cardboard signs who started the #10poundprince twitter campaign. If you were even the slightest bit influential in the price change, we all owe you £60 of drinks!
Hope that all of you who haven't experienced this yet do so soon!
It's been too long since you've had your ass kicked properly:

Just a quick reminder for those coming from outside London that the tube is likely to be on strike again from tomorrow evening. This will affect us if there are any shows on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

I expect the buses will be chocca and the taxis expensive?

Not all tubes lines are closed. Check this on the day before travelling.
