It might just be because the review is by Bill Oddie? Bill has been tweeting about a show for motherfunkers (Mums who need time to get a baby sitter and can't just ditch their kids for a Prince show at 10 mins notice). Actually it was Bonnie Oddie who started it. Probably a relative. |

Yeah, I'd much rather see them in a small club (well I'd love to do both!) but it's going to be more difficult for everyone to see him that wants to if he keeps doing the small gigs. Hundalasiliah! |

Me too, but it seems its going to be near impossible for me getting down from Manchester for a small gig if its run the way the others are, an arena show means Prior notice so I'd be more than happy with that for the chance to see him |

I can't see him doing the o2 with 3EG, but the indigo2 is pretty much empty for the whole of February. There is something on there on the 9th, 13th and the 16th but thats it.
Anyone who caught the aftershows during the 21 nights, knows this would be a great venue for him.
I think they will do a few more hit n run shows to gather interest and then do a series of anounced and planned shows at the indigo2. |

I'd be really happy if he did the Indigo2, great venue, and undercover if any queuing is required! However, I'd still like a ticket in advance gig, but knowing my luck I wouldn't get a ticket. Judging by the queue for Electric Ballroom on Wednesday, clearly there's a huge demand for Prince right now, so any tickets that go on sale for any venue will be the hottest ticket in town, hotter than those for the Indigo2 on 21st September 2007 but I take some comfort in that I managed to get a ticket for that gig, so here's hoping [Edited 2/7/14 8:08am] |

OOooo...I don't know, that was a pretty sought after show. I remember hearing about tickets for that show changing hands for close to £1,000 as the date got nearer. When we queued to get in there were fans wandering up and down the line offering £200, £300 plus to buy someone's ticket. A couple few people behind me actually took the offer up and made themselves couple of hundred pounds on their £25 ticket. Another Orger we knew emptied her bank account to buy someone's ticket...think she handed over 200 odd notes as well.... |

Can't see a big venue, nor one outside central London.

The tickets me and Tony had we sold at face value, I think on the night he even gave one away when somebody he had put it aside for didn't turn up. [Edited 2/7/14 8:33am] |

I think all the true Prince fans sold their spares at face value...I know I did (to a woman at work's sister who was a massive Prince fan...the woman turned me down for a job last year though, the bitch! ) I seem to recall one lucky fan found an aftershow ticket in the toilets where someone who couldn't be bothered to go just left it on the sinks!! |

I don't think I realised at the time just how lucky I was to get a ticket to that Aftershow (which if I remember rightly, I had long before I scored a ticket to the main show for that night). I was offered £200 in the line for it (and had seen them going for £400 on Ebay beforehand) and had thought it all a little crazy, but in hindsight, if I hadn't had a ticket for that? I would have happily paid whatever, I am sure! An unforgettable night.
