It's the press conference on the 3rd not the first gig, isn't it? I think he arrives in London on 3rd to announce the shows. Have I misread that? Just want to make sure there's no gig on 3rd before I plan something that night!

Now yer thinking!

Tottenham Hotspurs training ground in Enfield will be a good place for a gig Prince.

Prince could get Lamela to work the door. At least then he could contribute something positive. Or AVB could take on managing the tour as his next "project" wink

Playing one up front?

Would suit him down to a T.

I think it seems a bit quiet to be fair this announcement doesn't seem very official, no noises coming from prince manager of the 3rd eye twitter. Maybe I'm clutching at straws that's it's not just London venues? Haha

Kiran (still his manager?) tweeted Doc's link (He never posts unless it is legit it seems.) about it which has a confirmation from La Havas about the press conference being held in her flat.

Ooh, what about Battersea Power Station or Hampton Court Palace? I wish it would be the latter as it's so close to home. They do host concerts there on occasion.

Do you live near HCP? I do too.

I'm hoping Prince will play both small and large venues on this tour. Thinking of that huge catalogue of his and he should be able to make most types of Prince fans really happy. He's always changing things up, this will be fun biggrin

i got to see him at cafe de paris and brixton (aswell as indigo2) they are small venues, so it's not impossible to get tickets. although i was on a mailing list of hardcore fans, this time may be harder?

Well, so far, I've done Prince at Busbys, Camden Palace, The Forum, The Hippodrome, Indigo, Kings Cross, The Marquee, The Emporium, Cafe De Paris, Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, The O2, Earls Court, Brixton Academy and Hammersmith Apollo, so I'd rather avoid those.

For me, I'd like, Wilton Hall, Bush Hall, Hackney Empire, Alexander Palace, Dingwalls, The Garage, The Tabancle, Westmister Hall or Electric Ballroom. Wishful I know.

Every time I'm a little flush with cash, he tours where I'm not. When I'm broke, he down the street. I'm happy for the Londoners tho. Rock on!

Has anyone seen Eric Leeds and AVB in the same room together?

Could be an interesting time. In two minds though as not totally loving the 3EG stuff but always good to see him in smaller venues.

Could be they knew 2 weeks ago but it's been reported that they are having contact with the outside world that hasn't been shown. So could have been earlier this week. But as you say looks like some tickets have already been allocated. Hope they leave plenty for us orgers! wink

Its so annoying that Prince only considers London when coming to the UK.... come on there are plenty of great venues across the 4 different countries... including the amazing Hydro in Glasgow!

AVB's preferred setlist:

How Come Soldado Don't Score Anymore?
All 7 and we'll watch them fail.
Little Red Haired Portugeuse Cold Sweat
Levy For Jew Pork
