Ticket packages for the entire festival range from $130.50 to $2,700.

$2,700 Smackers....I hope that price includes Breakfast or a Snack or Dinner with Prince...

That's outrageous! Has anyone on the Org ever been to the Essence Festival and paid that kinda price? If so, please let me know what extra perks are included with something like that! LOL!

Looking forward to NO. It's been so long since I've seen Prince perform for a mostly African American, female audience. Gonna be crazy. Welcome back, Prince!

Single Day tickets are $50 each. $100 if you want floor seats. Just be mindful that the prices seem to be a little higher than last year since Prince is performing.

I'm editing this again to say I was way off with the single night ticket pricing for closer seats. You can still find the extremely cheap seats but they are nosebleed. The night Prince performs seem to be quite higher than the other nights. I'm looking at ticketmaster now and you still can find some $150 - 300 seats located on the floor. It's just rear floor seats or off to the right & left sections.

Typically, the headliner performs on Sunday. But this has not been confirmed yet for Prince. But guessing based on Last year's festival, Beyonce performed on Sunday so I'm thinking it will be the same.

The seating is slightly different than it would be for a Saints game. This is especially true if you are buying floor tickets. It's best to go by ticketmaster's seating chart.

a friend of mine went a few years ago and said that it was mostly white people in the audience

sorry about that, well u will have fun anyway

but with Prince added this year, there will certainly be more white people attending!!

Then I think your friend have her festivals confused. Essence Music Festival has nothing but African Americans in attendance. If you see more than 20 non-POC I will be shock.

This is from last year...
