Back part of the venue. I'll keep trying, been a long time since I've seen him so I definitely want the front part (104-106, 120-118, 14-15, 26-25) especially for $214! I think I paid $175 for very front row on the stage in NJ on the W2A tour.

I wonder how many seats are being held for the public sale ...

[Edited 11/26/13 8:53am]

I'm sure most tix are held for the public sale however they will be grabbed up in minutes. If you really want to go I'd buy now. You can always sell them laterif you find better seats.

majority of show tickets never go onsale to the public.

they are held for vip packages, insider buys, to be scapled(yes they do that) sponsors and so on and so on.

but eventualy if those dont get sold they wind up be put back on sale and there the best seats in the house.which happens 9 out 10 times if not more

iknow people panic ,but the best seats for thse shows will come very close to show timwe when they kick them back into the system.

they have figured out now diehards will by anything to get in the door so them first and casual fan or person wont .so they release them later.

also its a casino show so they will realeased the best seats they dont give away closer to show time

100% right on all points. It's the same thing with any event whether it be concerts or sports or whatever ... they basically sell the worst seats (for the price) first, and better ones closer to the event date. I'm local and don't have a preference as to which of the shows, so I'll wait as long as necessary.

also this is a casino show so they will hold back the best seats till close to show time and then realease.

rember he has to sell 30,000 tickets in a month during holiday season when people all ready have plans and the weather is the big unkown.

except for the dna shows the last tour tickets where going for around half there original price day off on stubb hub and infront of the venues. and those where small theater shows with most not even sold out.

True, but I never feel right re-selling tickets. I always worry that the people buying my tickets at face value will re-sell them for a profit, or get caught scalping with my name on the tickets. sad

I have a contact who will sell me a pair of theirs if I don't land any on my own, so either way I don't have to worry about being shut out.

This sucks, I guess I will hold off and hope for the best unless something opend before the end of the pre-sale. If the casino gives all the good seats to their gamblers, I mean customers, it will be bad in the front. I went to the Superbowl show at the Hard Rock Casino in Miami when he played the superbowl and that's how it was, no one in the first sections stood up hardly and didn't know many of the songs. This could turn out the same way.

I wonder if anyone got in the first three sections in the pre-sale.

there will scattered good steats will be sold but at a casino the majoruty are held for the reasons ive mention. but i still think it will be hard for him to 30,00 tickets in a month, there will be plenty released

And how exactly do you know what he will do at any of the shows? Most times that I've seen him (around 20) he's played some hits and guitar.

I went to a Lenny Kravitz concert at a casino and was blessed to be able to buy front row seats toward the side. The lady next to us (closer to center stage) had a comped seat, and once the first song began she decided she didn't like it and left never to return. disbelief

.

So yeah, the best seats will be comped to people who just want something to do on the biggest holiday weekend (between Christmas and New Years) and they probably have comped casino hotel rooms for the weekend too. That's how casinos work. They are very appealing to performers, especially in Connecticut where there's really nowhere comparable to perform except the coliseum in Hartford.

.

And even though it *appears* the casino is losing money on all the comped tickets, you know what? They are making a whole lot more money because they are bringing in people whom during the course of their entire overnight stay will likely lose FAR more money gambling than the $214 they saved on their ticket.

You know Prince, not exactly predictable. I hope he just rocks out with the girls each night. Either way I'm sure it will be a great show and a blast.

Well, took a chance and bought two single tickets in section 6 row H for Saturday night, three seats apart so no big deal, I am sure the two between us will move over one seat. Figure I will be safe for one show and try to buy for Friday night at the regular sale unless they open more before that.

I keep getting nothing but the back of section 17 or 18 for any night. I hate how pre-sales generally don't offer good seats.

Wonder if they saved the first few rows for some kind of VIP package like the last time at MSG. I'd spend the money (within reason) again

Unless the artist specifically requests differently, the first few rows of casino shows are free tickets reserved for high rollers and real VIPs. cry

I've been trying for three days and its the same seats coming up over and over again, sections 17, 18 and 24. It looks like only a small block of seats reserved for the pre-sale. Has anyone seen any floor seats come up since the first day? I'm about to give up on the pre-sale and take my chances Friday. confused

Don't feel bad, I've been trying literally more than a dozen times a day since the presale began. All three shows, same story every time ... 17, 18, 24, 7, 8 and sometimes 4 and 6. Not gonna happen at $214. pout

I would guess there's another block reserved for the radio presale, and another for the general sale.

It's pretty amusing (and not surprising, given Prince's lack of quality control) that the Ticketmaster page currently has a graphic stating 'Welcome 2 Chicago" for these concerts.

Is the stage is a basic one or symbol. I'm guessing basic but it looks like there is seating to the imediate left and right of the atage in addition to seating behind the stage. I tried presale and they gave me aection 17I thinl and it waa right of the stage.
