I bet NPG Horns, 3rdeyegirl, Liv & Shelby will all be there. I also bet it will be a blast!! And maybe they will have merchandise ready by then too.

about 20 years ago, he played at the Patriot Center in Virginia which holds about 10,000

I would pay $200 to see him to this show.

Well there are two clubs in the casino, Ultra88 and Avalon, but I don't know if they are properly equipped. Any chance he would do the Wolf Den?

paperposter	i was thinking the wolfs den. but theres plenty of options. hes there for a few days and theres nothing to do around there except hang at the casino or eat or drink.your pretty far away from any other clubs. he could do something in other parts of ct but it would be around a 45 minute drive or more so i dont think that would happen

I believe 3RD EYE GIRL has the potential to be a great rock band lead by Prince. Even in a funk ensemble as NPG, the core musicians are good. I just expressed doubt in them playing an arena size venue similar to MSG or Joe Louis Arens as a 4 piece playing Prince's biggest pop hits like "Pop Life" or "I Wanna Be Your Lover". Certain songs need other players to bring out the fullness of the sound of the songs.

But also, if Prince is intent on promoting 3RD EYE GIRL and a 3RD EYE GIRL tour supporting Plectrum Electrum, it would make sense he would play these shows with NPG. Partly, to give NPG one more gig of significance for a while and to play "Big City" live.

First of all Ida Nielsen was already playing bass before 3rd Eye Girl. The players at the last few NPG gigs are mostly new so most likely this band will be the girls plus some horns and another keyboard player.

Call me crazy but I like his arena shows way more than most of his aftershows where he plays too many covers, lets the women sing way too much and sometimes barely plays guitar. I'vee been to a couple aftershows that were very anticlimactic. Can't wait until the MS shows! Last saw him at the 4 MSG shows on the W2A Tour a few years back. Hope they are as good as those were.

I last saw him at the final NJ show on the W2A Tour, before that I hadn't seen him since the Lovesexy tour. lol

Wow ... probably 85% of the venue is in the $214 price range (entire floor and lower level, all of upper level except far end), and as usual it's only the worst seats in each price range that are coming up for sale.

As I feared, casinos typically reserve a huge amount of seats for high rollers and VIP's. Plus the fact it's the holiday weekend, I think there will be an extremely high demand for the few seats that are actually available.

Back part of the venue. I'll keep trying, been a long time since I've seen him so I definitely want the front part (104-106, 120-118, 14-15, 26-25) especially for $214! I think I paid $175 for very front row on the stage in NJ on the W2A tour.

paperposter	iknow people panic ,but the best seats for thse shows will come very close to show timwe when they kick them back into the system. they have figured out now diehards will by anything to get in the door so them first and casual fan or person wont .so they release them later. also its a casino show so they will realeased the best seats they dont give away closer to show time

I'm sure most tix are held for the public sale however they will be grabbed up in minutes. If you really want to go I'd buy now. You can always sell them laterif you find better seats.
