The beat reminds me very much of Extralovable reloaded. I guess they would both fit on the same project (especially the newest version of Extralovable, with the horn breakdown in the middle). |

I like the hint of background noises (it sounds like the faint hum of traffic a la the intro to Lady Cab Driver) plus also the finale of Prince saying, "She's in the big city", which might mean he sings? Good, fresh, organic sounding instrumentation, including the drums, and ad-lib vocals and skatting and samples. Overall, it reminds me of the production on Superconductor and it also sounds like some effort has gone into it. We shall see, but nice news. | |

Nice. I still miss Prince the songwriter, but if we're going to get Prince the bandleader, this is a good way of doing it. I like it much better than the 3rdEyeGirl stuff. [Edited 10/3/13 0:33am] | |
