Purple Reign, Las Vegas Hello,
Anyone seen these in Vegas and if so are they any good? Am thinking it could be good way to start the weekend going to the Friday night show when I am in Vegas with some mates, a few of whom are fans too, in the near future.
Thanks

That's where I saw them, was probably about 3 years ago also. We sat at one of the tables near the door where they went in and out upon leaving or entering to get to the stage. Fake Morris was sitting at the table next to us with his girlfriend but we didn't know it was fake Morris until he came out after getting changed. RIP

Saw them in Dublin, when Prince bailed on us, yeah, they were good.

Wouldn't that have been Purple Rain as opposed to Purple Reign? I saw Purple Rain somewhere here and they were really good, I preferred them to Purple Reign. RIP

Hmm... I'm pretty much sure the band was called "Purple Reign".... but then again, it was 5 years ago. Either way, you're obviously talking about a stationary thing... so maybe it's not the same thing either way. [Edited 8/23/13 17:00pm]

Yeah Purple Rain and reign are two different bands...i was at the Dublin show in 2008 when Prince bailed on us... If am right in saying this Reigns lead singer dresses up primarily in d&p attire whereas Rains lead singer dresses primarily in Purple Rain era gear...they were pretty bloody good to be fair...

You are right. I preferred Rain but Reign are definitely worth a watch if you're in Vegas. RIP
