LIVE OUT LOUD TOUR LAUNCH PARTY at Portside Pub Vancouver, April 14th. Hosted by DJ Rashida spinning new CD trax! FIRST and XCLUSIVELY announced by the venue thru FB...a tour launch Plectrum Electrum listening party hosted by DJ Rashida! Hmmm...
From their FB page: "Honoured to be the launch pad for the this guy's North American tour. His band will be playing this Sunday!!!"
Tickets for the official Prince tour kick-off party featuring 3rd Eye Girl are available at the pub, Dipt on Homer and Sharks & Hammers on Alexander. Get 'em while they're hot

I think it's cool, perhaps some peeps who couldn't afford the actual shows can make it to the pub for $25...
I hope he does something in vegas, aftershow might be too late since the late show is at 11:30pm but hopeful for a pre show of sorts on the 25th... | |

Got a ticket to this!!
Just an FYI for those still thinking about buying their ticket to any of the main shows - you can use the ticket to the launch, to buy a ticket at the doors of any of the main shows for only $200.00.
So instead of paying $275.00 like I did per show, you can get into the launch party and a main show for $225.00!
I guess Prince isn't selling as good as he thought he would in Van! White, Black, Puertorican, everybody justa freakkkkkin'! | |

I got my ticks yesterday and was so excited i didnt even read about that deal... wow... maybe a drop in price might entice some frugal friends to experience the shows with me! Come on Vancouver, there'll never be any better show than this! Promise. P never disappoints! True story! | |

I believe it was Prince on that specific track.
Also, there was another track I had not been familiar with. I think I have most of the 3rd Eye Girl material, and it still sounded newer. There was a female lead vocal, but it didn't sound like Hannah's voice (in comparison to her other work). Maybe Ida? Wouldn't it make sense to release the album before the LOL tour??
Trying to think what he toured BEFORE the release... Milk and Honey (Never released) comes to mind... and The Gold Experience (Release date...NEVER)...
OH being a Prince fan.... I love trying to explain this stuff to my friends... its a whole different universe
