Can anyone tell me....

Have there been a lot of tickets for sale the day of the show from scalpers at any shows thus far?

The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U

did not see any scalpers in Vegas but the shows did not sell out and you could get some pretty good deals on craigslist and stubhub before the show

This is the setlist from show 1, in my opinion this was the show of the night, not sure if Liathach & She's Always in My Hair are in the right order but this is really close, & he played from 8:40-10-10pm, I can't believe he played The Max!! Complete with Tony M's part, you know, "yo baby, tell me where the party's at, yo baby, I wanna shuffle the cards in that stack" he played this on the piano & Donna played that Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic riff thats on The Max on guitar. Also a rare inclusion of Nothing Compares 2 U on this tour. Damaris Lewis came out to dance for Nasty Girl & Housequake.

Let's Go Crazy
Endorphinmachine
Screwdriver
Stratus
Purple Rain
Nothing Compares 2 U
The Max
I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man
Guitar
Plectrum Electrum
Fixurlifeup
Play That Funky Music
Alphabet St
Beggin Woman Blues
She's Always In My Hair
Liathach
Sign 'O'The Times
When Doves Cry
Nasty Girl
Housequake

Early show looks like it was a blast. Kinda mad I missed it. Nothing compares after PR... Into the Max. Little jeal.

Late show was amazing as well though! We had a lot of fun, Prince was into it as well. Climbing on the speakers, playin with the crowd. The sound in there was perfect and it felt like 500 people. U Got The Look in the second encore was so good. No sampler set for us, none for you guys either?

Only my second Prince show (my first was the late show in Vegas on Saturday!). Prince is my fav though (obviously why I'm here), never got the chance to see him. These shows are awesome. I want to go again.

The Love We Make
Guitar
Plectrum Electrum
Fixurlifeup
I Like It There

Missing Purple Rain somewhere in there. Closed the main set with it.

Yeah, we just got a mini sampler set, the 4 songs starting with Sign 'o' The Times, both shows were awesome! Show 1 was a blast though, he was standing on those speakers when the curtains opened the show, as opposed to sitting on the bass drum for the 2nd, I thought the venue was really cool, nice sound, cool ac, & carpeted floors for standing rather than concrete, & just big enough to feel comfortable to accommodate up to 1,000 people.

So it looks like he's been dropping "Bambi" and adding "Play that funky music."

Crap.

Yeah I was disappointed in no Bambi; that song rocked so hard in Vegas. My favorite moments of the late show last night were:

Incredible long version of She's Always in my Hair > The Love We Make
Plectrum Electrum was really awesome last night. The entire crowd was grooving.
Cause and Effect is so fun live
U Got the Look to end the night was a blast.

All in all I loved this San Diego show. The venue was great, great sight lines and the sound was loud all night. I seriously might go back to tonight for 3rd Eye round 3

Glad it was so great! Sounds like a good setlist. Heard he was flirting hardcore with some ladies in the audience and gushing about my hometown!

I'm pleased that the reviews & fan experiences have been positive but no matter which way u cut it these shows are SHORT in length especially 4 the ticket price. IMO he should play bigger capacity shows (5000) & reduce the ticket price by half. Real fans paying top whack are getting a raw deal. There I've said it & yes I am travelling from England 2 Switzerland in a few weeks 2 see him!!

Unfortunately I'm missing the man this time around (I've done it before but can no longer justify to my wife dropping $250 on a concert ticket), but a buddy of mine is a police officer, working the graveyard shift, downtown San Diego. He called me last night and told me they were told during their shift briefing that they had to be in the vicinity of the Hard Rock when Prince's shows let out. With a straight face, the sergeant told them "If for any reason you come in contact with Prince, don't look him in the eye...it upsets him." falloff

Wow, The Max - wonder what made Prince dust that off, and Nothing Compares to You?? Thanks for the setlist.
