I'm on way out to the city for the second show tonight

and I was hoping that someone from last nights shows could give me some good advice on how they are handling the line situation and what is my best option for a good spot in the venue?

I am only 5 ft tall

i don't want to get stuck behind a bunch of tall peeps

so what's up?

Please do tell?

anything? anything?

Yeah the arrangement was great. The uptempo reggae tinged beat worked great & really represented the spirit of this tour. Prince said this is like a late set & I couldn't agree more. That's another thing the makes this tour standout. Every show/set seems like an aftershow gig. I bought a ticket to the 1st show yesterday morning after i found out they released more for charity. So glad I did. A shout out to Bill & Angie. Great to reconnect with ya'll after all these years.

Was lucky enough to score some of the $100 tickets to the late show last night. MIND-BLOWING SHOW. Guitar shreddery from beginning to end (minus the sampler set). The version of She's Always in My Hair was amazing. When We're Dancing Close & Slow and Crimson and Clover were amazing. Bambi was ridiculous. The whole show just... wow. This was probably my 10th time seeing Lord Princetopher and I just feel so lucky to have gotten to see him in such a small setting. Unlike any of the other shows of his I have been to. Since the first time I saw him perform I had no doubt that he was the most talented person known to me. He certainly proved it once again. Once in lifetime talent he is.

I really hope everyone gets a chance to see him in such a small venue. Not sure what I did to deserve a chance to see him like this, but I must have cashed in a lot of my good karma last night.

Now on to Vegas for one more!

when I picked up my tix they said basically where you are in line will dictate where you stand on the floor. also stressed, and I do mean stressed, that any picture taking will get your ass booted quick and in a hurry. She said don't even raise your phone to text, cause if it looks like you're snapping away and they see you, out you go.

I am a tall peep. But I still got stuck behind someone with an amazingly wide head. I think being ready to line up at nine and then ready to wriggle through the crowd is your best bet. There were lots of short people pushing and sliding through the crowd all night....

That's EXACTLY it. We were kept outside in line for over an hour after the doors should have opened because he didn't have the 'proper' brand of Kleenex. This info came straight from the DNA staff. Thanks for the pic!

falloff at the kleenex story! I could just get by with some T.P., but I guess that's not good enough for His Purple Majesty! razz

I thought he preferred Capt. Crunch? That's the only cereal brand I remember mentioned in his lyrics, not Lucky Charms! I suppose there was soy milk, too? wink

I heard from staff that an amp broke and they had to buy a new one. The Kleenex story is surely more fun.
