Here's a little bit more info: Lines for both shows will not open until 12:00Noon. (Not too many people have inquired about being there this early) No recording allowed of any kind. **Cell phones have been updated!! Will be allowed, but anyone caught taking pictures will be escorted out of the building.** Standing Room GA only. This is NOT a Dinner Show. (Ticketmaster has communicated that it is, this is not true.) Parking: $10.00 Nearest Hotel for travelers: Marriott TownePlace Suites is across the street I'll send more info as we confirm it. See you in 8 days! If you are coming to both shows, you will clear the building but have a "fast pass" at the Front Gate. [Edited 4/29/13 20:22pm]

Thank you for this information. It helps a lot! If anyone wants to meet up with me and be a line buddy for food/bathroom breaks, etc., I would really appreciate it! It looks like I will be attending all 4 shows! smile

Anyone want to meet up early? It'd be cool to meet some of you and obviously we all want to get there early for good seats.

I'm down! I'm going to all 4 so holla up y'all. Anyone and everyone with purple blood pumping through their system May 7th and 8th org note me where & when. I don't know Anaheim but I'm planning on staying in a local hotel there. Suggestions appreciated in advance.

I'm coming on my own to all 4 shows, so I would welcome anyone who wants to buddy up in line for food / bathroom breaks, etc. and just general good company through the long wait! smile What time is everyone planning to show up?

Does anyone know how early the parking lot at the Grove will be open? I don't want to show up early and not be allowed to park my car until later! Anyone? Thanks.

We got rooms Towneplace. They say it is a five-minute walk to the Grove. Not the absolute cheapest but location location, as they say.

I would guess, they will have the lot open at noon same time as the line, but let's see if purpleadobo calls back. The lot is right next to the venue.

I'm going down there, have to take my wife to a dr appt at 3:15 then heading down, so will probably miss lining up early, but will be there with bells on!

Yes thank you for taking time to post here the information purpleadobo!! no cell phones huh...I wonder was it like this in any other shows? They were allowed in Vegas shows.

Damn San Francisco AND 2 Anaheim shows!!! Don't forget to post a review wink I'm still debating whether I should go see him one more time or not...

and for that Everyone who's going HAVE FUN!!! dancing jig dancing jig dancing jig dancing jig dancing jig dancing jig

When I look at an artist's work, I always look for some dogs among the good stuff. If the person is taking chances, they will have off days and do some lesser things. Prince takes chances and, one reason i try to go see a few shows, is that there are some performances that I do not connect with as well. And others that have me accosting bystanders with my rapturous prose. I would love to see him alone with a piano doing the moody stuff. I did not love the glaring lights. And yet, wow, WHEN WE ARE DANCING CLOSE AND SLOW live? ADORE? It gets no better than that. A long way of saying that it sounds as though Vegas was truncated. I hope he rests up. I hope you can see a second show. Oh, in SF they did not allow cell phones and it was so nice not to see gleaming screens. The outside world stayed outside.

I couldn't find the time to go....In a few hours I'll be going back to the windy city =( oh well.

So jealous you get to see him so many times. I'm sure you're already on your way but have fun hun hug dancing jig dancing jig dancing jig

MadamGoodnight

THANK YOU PRINCE!!!

.

.

.

My mind was officially blown! cool

Prince was being playful on stage, and having so much fun. He was loose, and strutting around. His vocals were tight, and his showmanship is still in tact. He was a bit naughty too wink I loved what I experienced! It was SO worth it!
