I actually went that night, although Prince didn't show, it wasn't too bad. Maceo Parker was there with his band and QuestLove was there so it wasn't a total waste of time.

The band has been rehearsing day in day out 4 a long time and besides that they already did the Dakota shows. So I think they r more then ready?

I did notice on Twitter yesterday that various bandmembers stated they were going home 4 a few r&r days

Bad enough flying across country to see him only to have him show up a few months later for three days at a city near you!

Even for Prince, NYC venues are always hard to arrange, especially at last minute.

Would be a shame if he didn't do anything, but NYC is getting used to it.
