Reserved Seats 4 Andy on the 23rd I was a little worried about starting off this Chicago adventure standing up all night at a general admission show so I did a little checking and it turns out you can get a RESERVED seat at the HOB. If you are interested what you need to do is call the HOB box office(312)923-2000 and reserve a dinner package. It will cost an extra $75 on top of the ticket price. $25 of that goes to reserving your stool for the show and the remaining $50 can be used like a tab towards Food, Drink and HOB merch. I was happy to pay the extra $25 to not have to stand in line or on my feet all night and I'm sure I would have spent $50 on food and drinks either way so for me it's a win win. Just wanted to pass along the info for anyone else who has trouble standing through ga shows.

This is the HOB's seating chart shown on LiveNation, not sure if it will be the same for the 23rd and afterjam on the 24th:

I am very familiar with the dinner packages and are a good idea if you have the money. However, I did notice something that said "box seating". Those are upstairs. If I were going, I'd chose those and hope for the best.
Maybe someone at HOB would answer that question for you?

I'm very familiar with how HOB runs shows. Go for it. I've been to around 30 shows at HOBs and if I'm able to snag the upstairs LOGE/Box seating I always will and that sounds about right, forget about finding these seats through livenation they are strictly from Box office of the venue. Though Livenation does get first dibs at tickets if shows are on sale for more than 2 weeks, after that its box office and usually the seats never go on sale through livenation but some of the big wigs at livenation can get them. Seating, it is HOB's idea of VIP, you usually get served food/drinks. This is way way way worth it. HOB is very accommodating, is big name artists like Prince want to play late into the night they will allow it. If he wants to jam until 4AM they would let him. GnR did a club tour with them. I got the HOB VIP seating for shows and I believe most ended at 3:30am or so!
Upstairs seating but spectacular view of the stage. To me it's worth it to be away from the crowds. I know the $75 sounds like a lot more but you get what you pay for. What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

And the fact that you get $50 of that back to eat and drink sealed the deal for me.

Niccce! No doubt about it you got a great deal. You will have a complete clear view of the stage in style and not have to trip over people! I'm guessing they must serve food/drinks right at the show, straight to where you sit? like they do at other HOB's? If they do, that gives you a good idea that the area is nice. I'm jealous!!! Enjoy!
