Hope everyone has a great time at the concert tomorrow... I'm just sorry I won't be there... Airfares and hotels were just too expensive for my budget this time...

Well I recognized the photo immediately from my private stash. Its from last year Feb 12, 2011 – Streisand was MusicCares' 2011 Person of the Year and being honored for her accomplishments as a creative artist and as a humanitarian at the annual dinner to raise funds for MusicCares.

Prince introduced Streisand herself & walked among the crowd of wowed music industry titans like the royal humble king he is.

Great show until the end when the lights did not come on for 1/2 hour when peopel thought it was going to be a second encoure. Other than that great show.

I find he usually performs more encores and has more energy on 2nd and 3rd nights for W2A--at least the ones I attended (aithough he did a blistering guitar solo of Bambi the first night in Oakland before he cut the encores short).

Hey, I was first a fan around '82 or '83 until '95--when I bought The Gold Experience on cassette for my waterproof Sony Walkman. I recently came back to Prince after a 15 year absence--but that doesn't mean I can't be critical when he messes up. And, this time he did, big time. I will always be a fan of his music that I love--but it doesn't mean that people can't criticize when he doesn't deliver--and we know that he can. The day I think he can't--I will be the first to say so. In saying that, I saw him deliver some great performances in 2010 and 2011--dude still got it, when he wants to!

I predict the fans tonight will get a killer show after what apparently happened last night. If I were in Chicago I would definitely go.

This was one of the BEST nights of my life. I will NEVER EVER forget seeing The Purple Yoda in concert. He was amazing! Thank you Prince, for bringing the funk back 2 Chicago. We sure as hell needed it

Uhh, a lot of those songs seem similar to last night's show...

And it's a waste of setlist space IMO to have cover songs like Don't Stop... when he could sing one of his own songs. He sang that last night too.

Was the sampler part the same songs as the 24th? If he didn't take any of the sampler songs from the 24th and sing them in full tonight, then I won't have felt like I missed anything because the sampler songs were really the songs I was wanting to hear in full.

Yep I was there getting funky and what not......

Eh...... I didn't really think the cover songs were a waste of space 'cause they actually sounded good! O_O Then again that was my first Prince concert ever! So I would've cheered him on even if he sang Old MacDonald
