21 Nights in London - Happy 5th Anniversary & 1st anniversary Of Malahide

Wow,, hard to believe the 21 nights in London / Planet Earth tour is 5 years old. FeelingPrince concert nostalgic all week with the first anniversary of the Malahide& 5th anniversary of 21 nights - I remember the opening night of August 1stbut who can forget when Prince casually strolled onto the O2 stage on Aug 3 -walked down to the edge of the symbol stage and took a bow before easing intoopening song Satisfied.Thehighlight of that show has to be Guitar (awesome) and Purple Rain ( I haveheard that song live so many times but this version was off the chart).asfor Malahide, Love Bizarre still gives me goose bumps smile Onelast nostalgic moment that i have to share.... i was also at opening night inLondon on aug 1 2012 and you may recall when the show finished there was a longbreak and 17,500 of the 18,000 attendees had left the o2. not me - i was downin font soaking up the atmosphere and admiring the stage from infamous sectiond4 [right up front ]. Just as i was about to leave Prince returns to stagefor 45 mins starting with acoustic LRC and working to love bizarre. i was 10feet from Prince and could not believe what was happening. oooooooooooooooooohi love the unpredictable nature of these showsThanksfor the great memories P smile

I guess it must be 5 years, my daughter was 17 and I went to her graduation recently!

She now has a prince tatoo!

She always claims her first gig was a prince gig as her mum was 7 - 8 months gone with her at a gig (Batman? I'm terrible with dates/years).

2012 - 22 = 1990

so that person on stage was Prince, the Nude tour.

1990: Spot on Born Dec 1990, I'll have to dig out the ticket stub, I'm sad I keep them all. I still have my two Benheim Palace, Summer Extraviganza tickets (didn't have to send them back to get refund), found them the other day while sorting stuff after our house move.

As we sing on the football terraces:

"It's all gone quiet over there"

I know it's not been that long and many artists tour once or every other year, but the silence out of Paisley Park is deafening.
