I can't thank the promoters, organisers, the entire NPG and especially Prince for coming to Australia. I saw him twice and without exagerrating, I have memories that I'll carry with me for the rest of my life. I'm so happy that it brings tears to my eyes. Being born in 1991 I was only 9 months old when Prince first toured Australia with the Diamonds And Pearls tour. The second time he came to Australia I was 12 years old. I really, really wish that I could have seen him back in 2003 but unfortunately I wasn't a Prince fan back then.

Very few of my friends and contemporaries are Prince fans so I felt so alone in my fandom. I just can't explain the joy I had when I was in that arena with thousands of other people who shared and understood my fandom. This has honestly been a lifechanging moment and I've been on a purple high for the whole month. I seriously don't know how or if I'll ever get back down to earth after this tour finishes.

Thank you Prince! In my mind, I was born in the wrong generation. I wish I could have been alive when those classic singles and albums came out. I wish I could have been there for those classic shows. I seriously thought I'd never have the chance to see Prince live. I'm so happy that he came to Australia. I SAW PRINCE LIVE IN MY LIFETIME!!!!!

A BIG thank you from me as well!! I am so happy + grateful to have been given the opportunity of seeing Prince live as the last time he toured I was about ten. It was amazing and I'm still on cloud 9. Please come back soon!!

My Daughters music teacher told her 'give your Mum a big hug before she goes to the concert because she will come back a changed Woman'. Having seen Prince on the Diamonds and Pearls tour I scoffed 'Ive seen him already, so Im already THAT woman' but this tour certianly did change me..... Sounds very melodramatic but I have memories now that I will have forever.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring your Hot self back to Australia much sooner than 9 years!!!!!

So for the next album and all the great music you have in store for us, perhaps you might consider hosting say 8 concerts in Minneapolis (say on Friday and Saturday nights over 1 month) and all your followers can travel to Mecca sorry Minneapolis to experience just the new music performed by you live (in a moderate sized venue).

In all seriousness, this tour put Prince back on the map in Australia. With not much success with his last decade of albums and no live presence, he had become an occassional hit on a golden oldies station.

He's reminded some and shown others for the first time why he is so highly regarded by fans, musician and critics and why he is so important to music. I rarely hear a single pop song these days that doesn't owe at least little something to Prince but his legacy was close to being forgotten down here, now it seems the whole nation has been Prince crazy.

Don't ever let it come that close again Prince. I can call you Prince, can't I?
