Out of interest, does anyone know when P and the NPG arrive in Brisbane today? I'm just curious how they've been getting from State to State. Regular planes or private jet?

My bf is on the tour crew. Not sure why back to sydney, i guess he likes it there?

^^ There's a thread going on about him possibly joining Janelle Monae at her concert in Sydney. Perhaps these two things are related?

I wouldn't be surprised if he flew back to Sydney after the Brisbane concert. He did that a couple of times when he played in Scotland years ago...he flew back to a London Hotel....similar distance.

I know the Brisbane main concert crowd first time was a bit staid so i can understand him not hang aroudn for an aftershow, but the gig at HiFi was GREAT, despite the ticketing debacle which saw the price rising after people had queued for two hours, people leaving and protesting to bring it back to the advertised price! Too much hassle probably, which is a real shame as the ones who were there loved it and had a great time.

The Ent Centre is also right next to the airport, so there really isn't any need to cut short a concert to get a private flight...planes come in and out of Brisbane right up until almost 3am in the morning (International at least), so don't know why he would need to finish at 10pm rather than 11pm for example.

Or maybe this is all a big ruse to fool people into thinking there isn't an aftershow when there is...because the Brisbane aftershow crowd was miles better than the Sydney one!

Sydney airport has a curfue of 11 PM i think, so any show would have to end up finishing very early.

If it was to fly back to Melbourne, then I could believe that as the airport has no curfue in place.

I got into Brisbane today (from Hobart) and plan on enjoying what ever show he puts on Saturday night.

Then it's back home for me Sunday then Melbourrne on Wednesday.

I too am flying in for Brissy and it would suck if it were a short gig...

But then on the other hand, at my first concert, I felt like I got my monies worth after 20 mins

I heard on the facebook group for the tour that apparently during his first week in Sydney, he was driven around for about four hours to look at the sights. Sydney is a beautiful city; I'm very happy and lucky to live here! Plus it's got a bit more of an exciting vibe than ol' Brisbane....I can say that, having grown up there LOL!

the show isn't getting cut short. also several venues have been in discussions today regarding an afterjam tonight.
