At the moment it is just a rumor,however fans all over FB r saying that there r banners up arund sydney & melbourne (plus radio stations giving away tickets) for a May31st show in Melbourne.
If this is the case it is not cool as myself & alot of other folks have made travel arrange,ents from Adelaide,NSW,QLD & other parts of OZ to b there for the final night of the tour & possible aftershow. (which was very likely after the recent success of the Brisbane aftershow jam)

I'm calling bullshit on this just at the moment. There has been nothing official announced and I can't see it happening. BUT I could be wrong. The May 30th concert has not sold out yet.

The radio station giving tickets away Gold 104.3 are giving tickets away for 30th May concert, not the 31st. http://www.gold1043.com.a...ce-weekend

It's probably the case that has been pencilled in, but they still haven't decided whether to go ahead with it or not.

I think it's mainly those who are travelling interstate who have planned for the 30th only and are then heading home that are getting upset about it. If there is something happening on the 31st they could've planned to stay another day and attend that concert too.

^Exactly. It's not a case of "anger" or "selfishness", but frustration. I'm stuck in the boat: I've already bought tickets and flights from Brisbane specifically to see the 30th, under the belief that it was the final show, and hence, a good chance of an aftershow. But now these rumors that another main show is planned for the next night appear to be gaining momentum. So it's kind of a "doh!!" moment for me. Not only am I not going the final show (which was my goal), it's also diminished my chances of seeing the Melbourne aftershow. Like I said... "doh!!"

I don't blame Prince, his team or Ticketek etc. It's true they never did officially say the 30th would be the last. There's no way around it. It's just unfortunate. But hey, it's still not even official yet so let's wait and see.

ok so a close friend of mine is on the crew for this tour. I had heard that there was going to be a final show on the 31st *but* when i asked him about it last week he said that the 31st wasn't happening after all so i'm not 100% but i'm pretty sure if they've only just put the word out about this extra show then it's possible the plan has changed again and it is happening.

OK,so just heard from a reliable source that the 31st show IS NOT HAPPENING!
Thankfully.Chugg Promotions & P have enough of our money.
& to the person who said "get over yourself".... tell that to the HUNDREDS of other fans around Australia who have been doing whatever they can to travel interstate,even OVERSEAS from NZ & Japan to be at the East Coast for the shows AND Melbourne for the Final Night of the tour.
The fact that there has been 3 shows in melb,Syd,2 in Bris & NOTHING in Adelaide or Perth means travelling back & forth,what with the pissweak scheduling of the tour to begin with.
Of course,Prince will easily sellout another arena full of folks in 10 days,especially if he does appear on The Voice this week.

YES,IT HAS BEEN THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE (& my Wife's) & when all is said & done the memories will outshine whatever downside there is .

Call it selfish,call it what u like.I was just stating the facts of the matter.
