No clips but I was there...it sounds very different. Much more energy to it as opposed to the almost jazzy feel of the original live arrangement. Starts off with just a kick drum beat with synth chops to bring it in at Princes cue. Faster if I recall correctly also.

the song on the album was so fucking cool, the drum machine, the bass line, that repeated drum feel, the horns. the new live version? ouch. that crappy organ doing the lead lines, johns drumming giving it a run of the mill funky jam feel, its lost all its coolness. it just sounds like any old james brown cover he does.

oh and guess what, shreiking backing singers doing most of the vocals...
