Hi all , just thought we should start keeping track of where the party gunna be. If its anything like Syd he will most likely to Prince of Whales , Metro or Bennetts Lane as per 2003!

Ill be putting in phone calls to contacts at all these Venues, if i hear anything Ill post.

Get your credit cards ready well probably need to get tickets around 530pm, If anyone hears anything more soild please post here so we can all get the funk!!!!!

PS Cant wait for TONIGHT !!!!! Ill be in the nose bleeds !!

I'm just curious as to how certain everyone is that there'll be an aftershow tonight? There hasn't been any word from the officials that one is due to happen tonight. And they gave Sydney people a bit of a heads up beforehand.
And why 5.30?

I have it on good authority Bennetts is not an option.

Normally if he books out something like Metro or Prince of Whales you would need to get tix from Ticketmaster , just going off what happened in Syd.

In 2003 we just lined up and payed cash at the door at Metro/Prince of whales and stood on the roof in Bennett’s lane.

I’ve put the feelers out with my events management contacts and some of the guys doing the fireworks for the show , if i get on to anything Ill post it.

I would just relax daddymac. An aftershow tonight is highly unlikely with another gig tomorrow. That's the way it worked during the 21 nights at the o2. I reckon 30th May is a dead cert and possibly one tomorrow.

some people are saying tomorrow

sydney aftershow tickets went on sale while people were in the first concert.

Daddymac, 'Prince is a prick', maybe you should go to a GaGa 'concert' if Prince is not good enough for you. Prince is known for last minute info on these aftershows, even going back to the 80's it was the same. Be like everyone else and accept it as that's the way it is.

Yeah man, I was having dreams last night that I was running around after the concert looking for the aftershow, like a frickin easter egg hunt!. Not good man!!!

When I turned up at the Novotel on Friday at 6 people had alraedy heard about The Ivy and a lot of fans that were going to the Sydney show had managed to get Ivy tix. They were sold out 2 1/2 hours before he took the Sydney stage.

Maybe tonight is old skool and there will be a show but you just need to ask the right people and turn up...without paying anything!! wouldn't that be nice. I think '95 Bagleys was the first one I had to pay for and that pissed me off. Up til then it was a case of looking out for Crystal Ball or Controversy people and just asking if they'd heard anything...

Prince is playing in Melbourne tonight, and rumoured to be playing a secret show at The Palace at some stage this week as well.

Doubt it'll be tonite but this is Prince we're talking about.

I had a dream last night that I had managed to buy tickets to the aftershow and was so excited. We got there and Prince came on and sang a line of one song and then left the club O_o. So it basically went from a dream to a nightmare in 5 seconds O_O.

Somehow I dont think his band is up to the 2003 par.

I doubt his aftershow would be better than Metro 2003.

Renato, Rhonda, RAD, Blackwell and others.. now that was a killer band.

From the Ivy reviews I really dont want to be forking out money to see Shelby sing.

My two cents worth...sure if the tix come up im gonna try and get them just giving my opinion though. lol

2 concerts for me this time around, front row centre in 2003 with mamalisa and 12th row in the first 2003 concert at Rod Laver....plus Prince of Wales and Metro aftershows (well you cant really call Prince of Wales an aftershow) also hanging around the back of Bennets lane listening to Prince inside lol...

So if I miss the aftershow this time around no biggie.

My point is that If the tix were announced and everyone had a fair chance to get them and i missed out then fair enough...but id be pissed off if I am in transit somewhere or at the concert and miss out on tix.

Sorry im talking giberish now wheres my caffeene fix COKE Much.

I had a dream that I was a bouncer and Prince was walking in like he is some sort of GOD and I stopped him and told him to go over there and line up like everyone else in the general adminission line LOL
