Hi, Its 4:30am in Sydney, and I just got in from the after jam party. I barely know where to start! I came over from Perth for the Friday night show, which was amazing! At 5pm last night (fri) I got a tweet about the Ivy after jam. I tried immediately to get tix and was not lucky. I spent the day in Sydney, following various twitter feeds and sent a few pleading tweets to Rashida. At 5pm(sat) I gots meeesge from Rashida, that she has put my name on the door list for a ticket. It was simply the most wonderful, generous, gift I have ever received and I have just danced solid for 3.5 hours! I saw Rashida on the way in, and thanked her in person, and she was genuinely thrilled that I made it!! I think I will never be the same again. I know my feet will never be the same again. Beg, borrow, and plead your way into these after jams people! These are what Prince and the NPG are all about!! Thanks Good night!! Nick | |

I just got home after the Ivy gig and the earlier gig. My ears and feet hurt but I still can't wipe the smile off my face. Prince, Shelby, Flava Flav, Seal. She's Always in My Hair, Partyman, Never Take the Place Of Your Man (half speed) wow. Earlier in the other show I saw Days Of Wild. Last night I saw Dance Electric. The Mutiny jam, 3 shows in 2 nights. Man... and at the end tonight, Prince went all Hendrix on Dreamer and my face melted right off. Must sleep..
