He migth want to recover a bit from jet lag.

Also he might want to do a sound check and/or rehearse a bit.

And now the NPG girls have confirmed via twitter that they have arrived in Australia ... local time this morning. If I were there I would say at this point "Welcome 2 Australia, Prince and the NPG"!!

Please allow a day or so to recover from jet lag, then check the hotel and/or the hall for rehearsals or sound check...

Yeah, the Twinz were posting obscure photos (roof, screen, etc...) from there this afternoon.

A couple of huge trucks were spotted too - presumably unloading the giant stage (complete with giant allen key for easy assembly).

I guess only the band members are staying there and Prince will be staying somewhere else.

In 2003 he was Park Hyatt. Itd be either there or crown towers.

I think I'm gonna stay one night each in the Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt and Crown to increase my chances of running into Prince for breakfast

Well, the breakfast bit is a joke of course, but I do think that by staying at different hotels in Sydney and Melbourne and flying from Sydney to Melbourne I will increase my chances of running into Prince

I like that approach! And I wish you good luck with running into Prince, or at least finding out that one night you are indeed at the right hotel. It would be cool to actually meet him ... I am thinking about all those fans who spend hours and hours outside of a hotel in which they know their stars are staying. For example, Bon Jovi Fans ... and Michael Jackson fans used to do that all the time, too.
