when was the last time u saw Prince live and what did u think??? and would u go again????

I've never seen Prince live, it's my first time and I'm sure it will be the best!

Only going to the first concert, I can't afford to go to both.

when he first came out here i only went 2 one concert!!!! now i wish i had begged borrowed and stole because it was awsome and i should have made a bigger effort

u can still get tickets - thery r 99 - u dont have to b close 2 have an amazing time!!!!

u can always call a radio station and win a couple of tickets and take your mum 4 mothers day

Haha, my mum wouldn't have any interest. Not in the music I mean, but just being in a large crowd of people. I'm also saving money hoping for an aftershow

Unfortunatly I was far too young when Prince hit Melbourne with the Diamonds And Pearls Tour way back in 1992 or whenever it was, but I made up for that in 2003 when he did two shows in Melbourne.

I wasnt disappointed. The 2003 Concerts featured a great selection of Princes biggest hits, from this career, and a couple of covers as well. I remember a great version of "Soul Man" with Chance taking the vocals for that one.

The 2003 concerts also featured a selection of new and unknown tracks which would surface some months later on the Musicology Album. I specifically recall getting moved by a very funky live version of Life O' The Pary, and praying that it would turn up on an album somewhere. It did, it is on the Musicology album of course, but in my honest opinion, the album version is lacking in funkiness. The live version had me dancing like there was no tomorrow.

Also, being that I went to both Melbourne shows in 2003, I also learnt that no two Prince concerts are the same. The set list changed somwhat between both shows, and the second show featured 2 encores as opposed to the 1 encore the night before. So you never quite know what you are going to get from night to night.

I will promise you this though. Even if you only go to one of this shows this time around, you will not at all be disappointed. You will witness a showbiz legend who shows how live music should be done. Every note, every word sung is 100% live, which is more than can be said for alot of so called professional pop stars these days. You will see a superstar hit the stage and burn the place down with his classic songs and dynamic performances right from start to finish. Prince often does a 3 hour show without really ever stopping for a breather. His energy is incredible.

You will leave that concert on that night, knowing you have just just witnessed one of the best shows ever.

I last saw Prince on Feb. 7, 2011 @ MSG. It was a really good show!

Would I go again? Probably.

I last saw Prince in concert in April 1992.

Went to all 5 Melbourne shows at Rod Laver - or Flinders Park I think it was called back then.

Did go to the Metro where they showed up, but did not play on the first night.

Walked straight into Sonny T as I was walking out of the toilet and he walking in.

Should of walked back in and "hung out' with him

Jumped into the first taxi on the Tuesday night (I think it was) and had to wait until the puprle one's limo left.

We were directly behind it driving back towards the city.

Taxi driver told me about the Palace show that night and how many were already lined up down there waiting.

Ended up going back to where I was staying as I only had cab fare on me

Missed 2003 tour, would of been good to go but had a lot of bad stuff going on around that time.

Taking my eldest daughter to the first 2 Melbourne shows, and I am going to the 3 Melbourne and 2 Brisbane shows.

The youngest daughter does not like his music, so misses out - her loss.

Would go to the 2 Sydney shows if I had the money, still thinking of attending but would end up even poorer than I am now.
