Shelby, Liv, Elisa & Cassy have all mentioned about coming to Australia on Facebook and/or Twitter and Shelby mentioned something on Ida's page about looking forward to them rocking down under, so I'd say they are all coming.

I'm sure the Twinz said something on Twitter about being involved as well (and given "they" are on the cover, I'd suggest it's a fairly safe bet)

One would assume that Andy will be coming, given her album should be just about ready for release around then, but that said, assumptions are a little dangerous when it comes to Prince

DJ Rashida is an interesting possible addition - she was one of the first to talk about coming "waaay down south" (when the tour was still just a rumour), but hasn't said much since (to my knowledge). But if she's coming, that suggests some funky afterparties, at least, if not some aftershows!

So...lots of chicks. And Prince.

As for the boys, I'm sure they'll be coming too - they just aren't on social media as much (unless I'm missing something).

It would be fun to see a couple of new (old?) faces as well, but I guess we'll just need to wait and see about those.

Maceo would be awesome! Although he's just been in Australia for the Bluesfest up in Byron Bay. He did a couple of gigs here in Melbourne, one of which I was at when the news finally broke about Prince's tour! I was still buzzing from the gig when I read that the offical page would launch at 3am - quite an evening it was

Do you think McKee will be in P's band? Now that I know his work, I think he's more a solo artist in his own right, not a bandmember. This dude is amazing! Plus I think he's on tour in Asia, so that doesn't give him much time to learn P's songs for the band, but he could swing by Australia to open for him. ???

That's what I said/thought, but it's not based on any official tour info. Do you have confirmation?

The Peach & Black podcast spoke about him on their recent news update. They suggested that there might be some kind of extended jam session with Prince and Andy during the show - they didn't say if it would be Prince taking the lead, Andy taking the lead or a combination, only that it would be very interesting (I think the word 'spiritual' was used from memory - not sure if that's based on info they received or their own thoery).

In any case, I'm looking forward to it!

I also happen to love the song Africa by Toto and I found a beautiful version that Andy did of that on youtube. I don't imagine I'd have many people with me on this, but it got me thinking about P doing a cover/reinterpretation of it with Andy...

Andy posted a photo of the huge 'symbol' doors at the PP sound stage yesterday, which confirms that he's obviously been there for rehearsal/jam sessions, so even though he's got a busy tour schedule of his own, they've obviously found time to work some things out.

WOW! I sooo wish I could haul myself over to Australia from L.A. for THAT! Maybe it'll be some kind of "dueling guitars" kind of thing. What a treat!

Andy's got a gorgeous cover of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" too; and I listened to "Rylynn" multiple times yesterday. Btw, he lists Toto as one of his influences (weren't Toto made up of session musicians, thought I read that), as well as metal.

I will definitely be checking here for all the org'ers reviews!
