Have fun tonight everyone!! After seeing the 3 Sydney shows, I am even more jealous of you Melbournites now. It seems with each show he is building and building. I shudder to think what you might experience in the next 48hours or so! Stay funky!!

He's into 1999 mode with 1999/Delirious/Little Red Corvette... Whenever he does things like this I think he is going to play the whole album cool

Wow this was great!

I thought ten times better than both Sydney concerts together.

His guitar was amazing and his voice too. The sound was so perfect in the Rod Laver Arena, it felt like I was floating on the soundwaves. Beautiful! I only now realize how shit the sound was at the Allphones Arena. Maybe it was just my seat though.

I could never take the place of your man alone was worth the price of the ticket! Incredible.

The only thing that was definitely better in Sydney was Dance Electric, that was a killer in Sydney and a bit lame in Melbourne.

you want my review??? you want it???

i had great seats, i think he spotted me a few times when everyone around me was sitting i was standing there in bright green dress and the light was on me. it was awesome. altho his guiat skills were off, i was the only one whistling when he grabbed the bass, i was screaming coz i love just a simple jam. the bit at the piano was fine too, you gotta listen to it, it was like he was playing a snippet from each of his songs and also single ladies, to which he said "hold on a minute, i dodn't write that song" ... i likes how he gave us breaks, when he did slow songs. it was great to see him. people sitting around me said they got their seats from showbiz, well lucky me i just paid 100 for mine. altho i must say, i got thirsty and i was hot, thanks to kd for msging me aftershow updates, but quite frankly i was wearing warm clothes and high boots, my feet killed me. glad i can chill at the back stalls tomorrow with my snickers and tshirt. actually i went to buy a hoodie but they were sold out, so they got em tomorrow again they said. i had a ball, it was a tad stressful. the twins dancing during the encore was amazing i couldnt take my eyes off them. i will post videos on my youtube channel "flyorra" after i post this. i couldn't figure out how to take video with my camera i just have phone videos. charging my phone tonight, see you all tomorrow night. it will be even better. also glad i could catch the train. taxi would have killed me. i got the pendant!!!

Sounds like a good setlist...similar to Sydnay but still good. I'm just soo tired of flaunting this young, vapid women in our face "Dedicated to the newest member of NPG" really? It looks pathetic when he flaunts these girls around. At least Andy and him looked good together...but at his age why not settle down with somehow instead of play games.

Anyway sorry for the rant....sounds like a good concert hope y'all enjoyed and keeps the pics coming!

OMG. That was just...amazing.

I am so proud of the Melbourne crowd! He left the stage after Purple Rain, the house lights went on, but the crowd didn't budge - we just screamed for an encore. So much noise! So much louder and longer than in Sydney.

Finally he emerged again. "Who is making all of this noise?" he remarked, like a father returning to the noisy children's bedroom. "I was halfway to the afterparty!" biggrin

This had all the guitar work that I think he wanted in the first Sydney show. He was really on the fly tonight - changing things up, seemingly on a whim, and the band was following flawlessly.

I didn't know how he would top Saturday night, but I truly think he did.

I agree that the sound was much better - very happy with Rod Laver Arena.

Off to bed now. Then we do it all again tomorrow!!

Oh, wow. So good, so good.

I had an absolute blast tonight. Prince is far better than I ever thought he would be live, and now I can see why people see him again and again and again. The amount of energy that guy exudes is just incredible. Dance Electric really got me moving, especially after listening to it for the last couple of weeks, amazing track, and much better live. Loved it.

Bring on tomorrow night. I'll be dancing my ass off with my new T-Shirt and pendant.

By the way did anyone see the price on the tamborines? $200 eek I thought they were $100 or $150 at the Sydney concerts?
