JenniD	Aussie tour! Anyone know what month the P tour in Australia will be? It was rumored to be May, was meant to be anoounced last week.. Any ideas? Also, when he was here last (2003 i think) There were meant to be like $1000 tickets to sit on the stage, anuone know anyting about these?

I've heard all sorts of rumours...and thats all they are...but based on previous Prince tours I'm guessing maybe Oct/Nov this year (ie after northern hemisphere summer) - or April next year (even for Prince it's too late to tour April this year LOL)

I like the city and the cosmopolitan nature of it. Plus I'm going to Samoa in June, Singapore in July, Europe in august and israel in september so I'm not too bothered about the weather. smile

. It will also depend on dates and flight costs as to which city I'll go to.

I'm gonna head to melbourne too - 2 main reasons...1st and foremost its the cheapest place to fly to from the South Island here in NZ..and 2nd - based on the '03 tour, Melbourne was much more into Prince than the other 2 cities.... depending on how much 'advance notice' we get - it might be cheap enough to go to both Melbourne and Sydney...which I'd do if so...but yeah I'll try to go to all the shows in melbourne first...

I am hoping to get to at least 1 aftershow - so frustrating that there's no NPGMC...if there's not enough advance notice I won't be going anywhere and I don't want to spend $$$ flying there to get nosebleed seats...

I'm not getting my passport sorted until there's an official announcement....

I'm still being told October...July/August at the earliest...but time will tell I guess..if he's touring May/June I may not have enough time to get my passport...which won't be the end of the world - I'm still wondering if another Hits Tour is really worth the $$ I'd have to spend just to get there...

I don't think 'usual' comes into it with Prince.

I spoke to someone from Showbiz today who indicated that they might be having a presale and that it might launch very soon after the announcement.

If he is coming in May (as suggested by some of the rumours), I'd suggest tickets will go on sale very soon confused
