Maybe.. just maybe we can sort something with Chugg.. but will need to do it as group, I'm not after a freebie, happy to pay but want US ALL to have great seats and to party together, it will NOT be the same unless I'm standing side by side with my fellow fams

What a jerk you are and how pathetic !! Steve Fargonli died of cancer about 10 years ago !!

Last time when he was touring here, i saw a group of people sitting on the stage.. I later found out they were tickets for org member (i think) that cost like $1000! I NEED those tickets this time! Any ideas?

i was one of those, we bought them via npg club, which now doesnt exist...

YOu lucky thing!!! I was so jealous when i was there, i was like only 7 rows from front but it wasnt enough! LOL.. What was it like? It would be my dreammmmm!

I think our biggest worry here boys & girls are the scalpers. They will no doubt snap up a good chunk of the tickets and put them on ebay. I hope the promoters put plans in place to minimise this (the NPGMC model used back in the '03 shows worked quite well...but obviously nothing like that now to execute for fans )

The official Prince Australian tour announcement still hasn’t come this week as predicted, but it seems we may be one step closer in piecing together the puzzle. If a tweet from Inpress Mag is correct, Prince will announce shows at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

The tour is now expected to be announced by Chugg Entertainment next week on April 12th. A number of Facebook groups have also marked down next Thursday as the announcement date.

This tour will be just the third time Prince has toured the country in a career that has spanned over 3 decades.

The first time Prince visited our shores was in 1992 when he played 2 Shows at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, 5 shows at Flinders Park Tennis Centre in Melbourne, then another 5 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre before winding things up with a 6th show at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

On his return in 2003, the guitar genius and master of melody only played 2 shows in Melbourne, 2 shows in Sydney and 1 show in Brisbane.

Prince was first rumoured to be coming to Australia to play the Big day Out Festival in 2012. However, this failed to eventuate when Prince pulled out of the deal, leaving the promoters with all sorts of problems.

yes: don't buy vip-tickets but settle for the 'ordinary'' ones

much better view an a lot of money saved to spend on attending more shows and bying merch if you would like to do so.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but assuming I get tickets for Brisbane, I know one show won't be enough (waiting for more dates to be announce next week) but - not knowing the city well - where could he go for an after-show?? Can't believe my luck - I'm only in Australia for 8 weeks and Prince decides to visit too! Will be my 15th Prince gig!

Aftershow in Brisbane? If it happens, it will most likely be in Fortitude Valley (perhaps The Zoo, or Cloudland?) or West End (perhaps the The Hi-Fi?) - both about 25/30mins drive from the Entertainment Center (the Entertainment Center is a bit out of townish). My best bet would be Fortitude Valley, as that's where he played the aftershow in 1992 and 2003...
