He played first time here summer 1986,then he premiered his "Sign O The Times Tour"

here in may 1987 and then he came back summer of 1988 for the "Lovesexy tour".

I wish I had a timemachine to go back to see the 1987 show if I could choose one LOL

He also played here 1990,1993,1998 and 2002 but he has'nt been here since.

I would love for him to do a summer tour of Europe again next summer. I'm planning to travel around Europe for a month or more and Id love to follow him around for some time.

I'd like to hear some new music but something he really puts his sweat and soul into--not half-assed.

I'm with you on that I'm European but live in NY. I'm taking my kids back packing for a month next year, around Euro. I'm PRAYING, HOPING, DREAMING... we'll catch a show or two while there.

The Prudential Center (The Rock) in Newark, NJ. It was nice seeing Sade there earlier this year. Having artists of this caliber in an arena is new territory for Newark - the Rock is only a few years old.

No, I saw him. But that was in Secaucus, NJ...not Newark. I saw him there and at MSG in NYC last year and earlier this year. Three times in total ....So I guess I seem a little ungrateful....I'm not though!

Newark has a bad rep and has seen some hard times. It would just be nice for him to grace this city with his royalness We'd show him a lotta love, trust!!!!

I went all the way to New Jersey to see him and then he ends up coming to Oakland not that far away!

I went all the way to New Jersey to see him and then he ends up coming to Oakland not that far away!

That's funny!!! Did you go see him again? I have a brother in Oceanside,Ca which is about an hour or so away from L.A. I was tempted to pay my bro a visit just to see another show!!! But my money got funny.....

He has not been to Washington, DC since March 2006--we gave him 7 sold out shows in 1984. DC has always been good to Prince and he has always been good to us.

i wish P would have a Paisley Party!...but in like May. Til then i wish he would never leave NY so I could enjoy the funk nightly- dont mean to be selfish, i want everyone else to enjoy the funk, i just dont have the neverending funds to travel to every place i want to see him, so the ideal would be for him to just stay in NY.

It would be so AWESOME if he did it. I wanted to do it this year but I didn't have the money for it. He asked us at the NPG festival if we would come back next year so my fingers are crossed - but you never know with Prince..

Hell, yeah, I went! Why would I miss Prince when he came near me?!! I also went to the last two shows in LA... Now, I can't go anywhere. At the last show I had GREAT seats--the best of the all the shows I went to--thrid row off the floor on the Piano side. Prince came to the edge of the stage peering into the audience during the first two songs and made eye contact with me, smiling and nodding because I was the only one up dancing at that time in my section. Terrific moment!
