looking for a ride from hamilton to london for the show!

hello!

my name is derek and i am a huge prince fan.

i was wondering if any fans who are going from the hamilton area to the show tomorrow (monday the 5th) in london could help me out with a ride there and back?

i would gladly cover the cost of gas and treat the driver to a nice dinner or something to show my gratitude.

thanks!

derek...

hi ronnie! thanks a lot. it looks like i could take a bus that left the hammer at 2pm and got there at 5 but then the next bus coming back isn't until 4am.

if there was an afterparty, that would be perfect, but it doesn't seem like there will be one, as i haven't seen any word from our friend dr. funkenberry.

i think the bus is the last line of defense!!

yup, that's the same stupid schedule i have with the last bus leaving london at 11:30pm and the next one after that being at 4:30am

via twitter, rashida did mentioned working on an after party when i asked her. i posted here on concert->london after party. hope it's true!

t-minus 24 hours to figure out logistics.

thanks a lot for the info ronnie! well, at least if we do take the bus, we might have some heavy duty entertainment to keep us busy until the bus! LOL

it worked out really well...

i saw an ad about tickets on a classifieds site so i got it touch and it turned out the girl was a huge fan. she's even a member here!! we had a chat and she decided not to sell her tickets and instead go to the gig! she graciously offered me a ride and i was set. i went on the labatt centre website just before 5pm and got a single front row ticket for cost. i was right in front of prince and the 'piano'! it was so amazing. one of the best gigs for me in my whole life. and i've seen thousands of live acts and djs all over the world. just transcendant. it was like he played one big long massive song of all his hits and all my favourite songs! just seamless. what a showman!! i'd loved him since i was 13 years old and i always wanted to see him, but i just never lined up. i got close for the lovesexy tour, but i ended up selling my ticket as i was desparate for cash. bad idea sad

how'd you enjoy the show compared to others you've seen?

i found out day of that there was no aftershow, which was just as well as the weather was horrid. the first really crappy weather of the year.

you lucky bastard!! so glad you got floors. soooo jealous!

i really liked it. got a seat 3 row from floor by arrow point. then moved to 1st row but still wasn't close enough. if i'm not right there up Prince's ass, nothing is close enough.

each show is different and i loved each one! he varied some of the songs- adore/ sometimes it snows in april on friday at acc, mountains on saturday and question of u/the one in london. perfection at its finest!

did you buy anything?

how can you have missed lovesexy? that was my first concert. had floors row "O" but moved to first row. unforgettable- the thunderbird around the studio, sheila on drums, cat, prince dry humping cat... uhhh-maaa-zing!

sorry, i hardly check messages on here. you on fb? twitter?
