biggrin biggrin biggrin For a 40 dollar toque the tax better be included!!

....I'm still going to buy one, and a bunch of other things. sad boxed

Also how hilarious that with his discography he doesn't have a single album to sell from his back catalogue.

agreed! and it's not like the tuque is that warm. it's one of those cheap ass, made in china ones you'd get at a dollar store for a buck (minus the beautiful embroidery, of course).

i got another symbol necklace, program, t-shirt. i want the beret!!

For an unknown reason, the symbol necklace was 15$ in Halifax and Montreal, but was only 10$ in Ottawa, so go have a look if the price is still 10$ wink

I think in Ottawa the guitar picks were also 10$ instead od 15$...

If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

Is the poster the same as the poster that comes in the VIP package?

No the poster in the VIP Package is a litograph of the Tour main picture, just this pic. The poster they sell is the one of Prince nowadays standing with his guitar before the Controversy cover poster.

Yeah.. I bought the symbol necklace... before I realised it was in the Vip Package.. so I have 2!

err

Noticed yesterday that the t-shirt that comes with the VIP stuff with Compassion lyrics, to read it properly you have to put it where the letters are grey, but actually the letter are printed on the other side.. where it's black, so when you put it the other way, writting is black but you can on ly read it in a mirror... Thought it was awesome hahaha!

A little info for the last few shows... if you are hoping to get your raspberry beret on better head to the merch tables early. We were trying to get an upgrade sorted so weren't at the table till 8:15 or so.

berets were sold out

toques were sold out

selected sizes of women's shirts left

If you are set on getting something, better make sure you are there as soon as possible.

I love the purple mother of pearl glyph pick but was hoping for the cream colored Prince script pick as well. Not sure if these are the only ones availible now or if I had gone to another merch table if they would have had other ones?

The glyph pick is the only one with printing on both sides.

The other three are blank on the reverse.

I was sure the silver pendant was smaller than my old 1997 1800newfunk pendant.

But they are virtually the same size.

Silver is very slightly smaller and as you can see, less detailed.

But all those years ago I ordered silver and was shipped gold so I am glad to now have a silver pendant!

Silver pendant is one available and purchased from the concert.

Gold one is there for comparison only.

You have to host your photos on a photo hosting site. most common is photobucket.com. it's easy

Tourbook is made of many pics from Montreal gigs at the Metropolis (yeeaaayyy) and some in Europe too I think. Probably some of US but since I didn't follow those post I wouldn't know.

I'm late to this party, but are they sterling and gold - or pated/toned?
I actually had a gold symbol custom made because I couldn't find a real gold one anywhere.

No, not sterling or plated. Just a silver and gold toned metal. I'm sure I have the info on the 1997 1800newfunk pendant packed away somewhere but I imagine that one was around $40-50 dollars. At the time it was shipped in a little baggie with a leather cord and I think a slip with the name of the jeweller.

The pendant from this tour was only $15 so reflective of the coarser workmanship. I wear only silver jewellery though so the gold one never makes it out of the jewellery case. I'm very glad to finally have a silver symbol. I bet you treasure your custom made symbol.
